Since I'm a content creator and not a musician, the standard I set for sound quality isn't that high - The only thing I want is something I can use on videos and during conference calls/video conferences to make my voice sound good and easy to understand. I am pleased to report that this mic can be plugged into a USB port.
It is common for Amazon to pack things well, and to ship them in a box/envelope for additional protection (even if the product already has a box). The box looked as if it had been sitting in a warehouse for a decade, which it may very well have been for that long. Because I don't have any problems ordering audio gear through sweet water, I usually purchase audio gear through them. As for the mic, it must be brand new because it worked when I tried to activate the warranty. This always makes me nervous when I buy a new microphone and receive a package that looks like it has been returned to the sender or has been sitting somewhere for a long time. I recommend buying this mic through Sweetwater to avoid these issues in the future. Here's today's update This time, Amazon sent me another one in a brand-new box, packaged nicely. In addition to the Rode NT1A mono micro, my acoustic guitar is now mic'd with two new NT5 mics. I'm amazed at the quality of the sound. I only used a little bit of reverb on this track. Only a small amount of EQ is done by me. There is a high level of quality in Rode mics. It is a home studio if you are there. There is only one mic you will ever need with a small diaphragm. As long as the microphone is registered with Rode, it is covered by a 10 year warranty. Please visit www. com. For that reason alone, it is worth the cost. In most other cases, a warranty of 3 to 5 years is the best you can get.
Please note In relation to any Amazon review, I have never received any financial incentive. You won't get any free products, discounts, etc.
Great results for DLSR video of music (flute solo, drums, jazz band, and symphony), etc. It was much easier for me to achieve better results with these matched stereo microphones than with a single microphone of much higher quality (more expensive). The sound is rich with minimal noise, thanks to the use of analogue technology.
It was difficult to tell whether I was listening to SM57 or SM57+, but the SM57 had plenty of "boominess" when it came to string attack. This mic has a much less obvious boominess to it, and it even sounds like a good accented part of the attack of the instrument (which is the right way to do it, in general). I noticed that the vocals had a lot more warmth and richness to them. The voice recording and acoustic guitar have been my projects so far. I bought it so that I could mess around with it and then get a second one to try stereo recording. I have found it so far to be as I expected!.
There are a few Rode pieces in my collection. Here are a couple NT1s I had a pair of NT5 before, but now I have a videomic, K2 Tube Condenser, and a pair of mics. As well as for live mic choirs as well as studio recording choirs, I bought them for assorted instrumentation and for live mic choirs. This product like all Rode products features absolutely superb construction quality and nothing will compare to it. It always amazes me how much quality Rode manages to pack into their products for the price While the case and mounting hardware come with the recorder, if you wish to record ORTF or XY chorale, you will also need to purchase the stereo mic mounting bar separately.
The product was exactly as I expected and even better. Every mic clip comes with a removable adapter so that it can be used with a photography stand. A super-power I agree that it is convenient, lightweight, and seems to be good protection! (
Although I bought this from Amazon, I would recommend getting them somewhere else because of the high sales tax in Washington state where I live.
