It should work if your sound bar has an optical input. To connect both ends of the cable, you'll need an optical connection.

When you use it, some kind of noise comes through. I was able to confirm that it was cable. I was under the impression that this was a high-end optical cable. I originally gave it five stars because it felt high-quality and worked right away when I plugged it in. I wasn't paying attention to the interference noise, or whatever it was. It was a minor detail. I had assumed it was simply my soundbar at first. My soundbar, on the other hand, is a Klipsch mid-range model. It shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. I began troubleshooting the sound, which was becoming increasingly noticeable to my previously selective hearing ears. The first thing I did was switch the soundbar's source. The issue has been resolved. So, the issue has been identified. I switched from an optical cable to an HDMI-compatible one. ARC, and the noise had vanished at that point as well. So I went out and spent three times as much on a name brand optical cable. What do you think? The issue had vanished. Unfortunately, when I listen to music or watch television, I don't like hearing noises that aren't supposed to be coming from my speakers. Of course, it's all on a tee. I rarely get a chance to use, but when I do, it's a great opportunity for a review. As a result, I'm out of any money I spent on this "high-end, premium cable. " I'm not sure if it actually said those things, but it made me think it was going to be delivered by a guy in a Rolls-Royce. White gloves are on my hands.
Update: The product lasted three weeks before it began to crack. It was simple to find a flaw by testing around. The sound was normal when I used an old optical cable. It was also normal to use the soundbar's bluetooth feature with my television. I tried it on a different soundbar and got the same cracking results. Given the excellent build quality, I didn't expect this to fail. I only required a longer optical cable. br>br> I've used bluerigger for hdmi cables in the past and they're still working fine; I saw them for the optical cable and decided to go with them. It's a good length, and the cable is easy to manage; otherwise, there's not much else to say; it does the job.
The plugs on the end have a firm insertion force, which is exactly what they should be, not loose or too tight. The cable itself is slim and flexible, much more so than the nylon braided cables I've used previously. I've had a few other optical cables from other brands, and three of them have been thrown away or returned due to various issues, either right out of the box when new or later on. So far, this one has been flawless. It's the gold-plated 10-foot version I bought. The gleaming gold ends had an unanticipated advantage for me: It's just easier to see when you go to plug it in and want to double-check that you have it oriented correctly before pushing on it. The cable is being used to connect the optical audio out on the back of my desktop computer to the optical audio input on an Onkyo integrated amplifier, which is playing some B&O music. I have a subwoofer and W speakers on my desk. YouTube audio is incredible, and the blu-ray version is even better. From my computer, I can play blu-rays, CDs, and any other type of audio. This cable has been in my possession for about a week.
The product was delivered on time. But, what can you say/expect from a connector of this type? This one does not fit any better or worse than the others I've tried. My most recent experience with this type of connector has been that it always fits the audio device's port, clicks in securely, and is easy to remove. However, they never fit in the same way on a comparable TV port, and they never click into the tv connector. As a result, it is not locked in place and can (and does) move around. As a result, during the course of a movie, sporting event, or other event, there is always a brief loss of audio sound; it's almost unavoidable. However, it should not be necessary. If at all possible, use HDMI or RCA connectors. I'm not picking on this particular brand, but rather the connector type. A more standardized port would have been preferable.
And the product made my surround sound "pop" like never before! The gold-plated end caps made inserting and aligning the optical cable a breeze. And the sound quality was much better when I switched on my Yamaha receiver instead of the Bluetooth setup I was using. There was no lip lag, everything was in sync, and the sound was incredible! I had no idea optical cables could make such a difference, but they did in this case. I also liked how the cable fittings "clicked" into place when they were inserted snugly into the opitcal port. There is no cable wiggle, which is very reassuring. Overall, this is a fantastic purchase!.
My cheap, flimsy optical cable that came with my sound bar started to fail, so I knew who to turn to when it was time to upgrade. Because I had previously purchased some of their HDMI cables, the decision was simple. They did it once more, of course. As usual, a fantastic product!.
It's well-made and sturdy, and it won't fall apart like some of the less expensive alternatives. There hasn't been any noticeable deterioration in sound. br>br>I'll give you a hint. Purchase a cord that is slightly longer than you believe you will require. You'll need a longer cord than you think once you've strung the cord and secured it in place. I'm wishing I'd bought a longer cord. The next time, I'll be more prepared.
They were perfectly fine, and they were exactly the length they said they would be. They appear to have been well constructed - shells made out of metal Both in and out, properly and accurately transmitting ADAT audio and clock. If I had to change anything, I'd put a little detent or something on the shell to indicate top and bottom so I wouldn't have to look at it before plugging it in. Apart from that, I haven't got anything negative to say.
