Although it is entirely made of plastic, it appears to be sturdy and functional. I'm just curious about the gold plating they advertise, and why would an optical connector require gold plating in the first place.

It's exactly how it looks in the picture. to a tee! I thought the braid would be made of cloth when I bought it. It looks like a good phone charger. . . except it's made of plastic! But, I suppose, that will be more powerful? br> I bought it for its appearance and color, so I'm happy with it, and its stats on paper show that it's exactly what I was looking for top-notch. the- We'll have to wait and see how things turn out. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find that color in the right size. For a reasonable price, this thing should also be able to sing Christmas carols!.

There are no issues, and 'audiophile' grade cables can cost upwards of $500. In my systems, I have a few Toslink cables that are expensive, but not the $500 ones. I took the hype seriously. Now that I'm older and wiser, I'd like to share what I've learned over the years. When connected to the same streaming device and DAC, there's no discernible difference in sound quality between this $5. 00 cable, as well as the rest of my collection. My music is equally'musical,' and the soundstage remains 'front and center. ' Don't believe the hype about cables and wires. Do yourself a favor and save money. Spend the money on good speakers instead of saving it.

Kinking does not appear to be an issue due to the design. It works well with an older Yamaha A/V receiver from 2009 and a Vizio Smart TV from the M Series from 2019. Because my previous setup ran the ethernet cable through an old panasonic blu-ray player, this will be used to transmit decoded digital audio formats back to the receiver. Now the Blu-ray player can decode and play audio files. Some of my premium subscription services will no longer offer support for ray software. My A/V receiver does not support Ethernet, nor does it support the 2. There are no HDMI configurations available. This will buy me some time before I have to buy a new A/V unit, and it will also allow me to take advantage of the TV's newer audio codex decoding.

The fact that I could use this for my soundbar impressed me, but the only issue is that it does not fit well into the receiving end of your TV or other products. There's just something missing, but I didn't want to return it because I was able to secure it with guides and wire secure products. I believe they should return to the drawing board, but overall, the product is satisfactory.

It was one of the most budget-friendly options, and it worked. It fulfilled all of my expectations for a product. Because this is an optical cable, I'm not sure how to evaluate it. The sound quality is the same in all versions, regardless of price. The cable is simply hung in the back of the television, where it will not be stressed by anything other than time. It doesn't matter to me if it works or not.

(I've never understood why optical toslink interconnects have such beefy oversized terminations. )br>This one checks all the boxes - The cable itself is thin and flexy, and it clears my TV wall mount bracket. It's a breeze to snake your way through the wall mount arms. It performs admirably. br>Excellent optical toslink interconnect at an affordable price.
