the bracketry for the number one 5" is a little more industrial and heavy duty than 1". br>We use both sizes in a variety of applications, and they both perform admirably. br>For your boat, I would recommend the 1" because it is less bulky and cumbersome while still being very stable. There will be no problems for you.

I recently bought a Garmin 73 series GPS. I'm looking for a mount that can accommodate the 1. Five ram balls Is it available from Ram, or is there a ball that can be attached to the Garmin mount directly?

My kayak will be able to accept the 1 1/2 inch Ram ball directly. This ball and the ball on the Garmin fish finder are connected by a Ram extension. It's fantastic.

I ordered the incorrect size, which was entirely my fault because I was unaware that there were different sizes. However, you'll have to sift through a lot of the description to figure out what size it is. This product's product title is EXACTLY the same as the RAM mount size I require, and it's difficult to tell just by looking at the picture. TLDR - TLDR - TLDR TLDR - TLDR TLDR - TLDR - TL Could you please put the ball's size in the product title?.

For my depth sounder, this is the ideal second mount

In my skiff, I installed my new depth sounder on the left side of the bench seat, where the previous owner had hung his. After two summers of looking at it sideways, 90 degrees off the boat's heading, I realized I could easily mount it on the seat in front of me, where I could see it while facing the same direction as the boat. br>br>However, I didn't want to give up the option of having it in its original position, so this ball was ideal. I was relieved to discover that I could only purchase the ball and no other hardware. It's a dead ringer for the one that came with the sounder mounting kit I bought. I'm really happy!.

In a heartbeat, I would purchase again! RAM mounts are a fantastic product; you can tell right away that they are tough and will last a long time, which is especially important when you're bouncing around on the water

The ball mount concept is brilliant in that it simplifies the process of removing and replacing your equipment. For any application where RAM mounts would be useful, I would strongly suggest them.

In the ball, a 5 and a 1. Ball with a diameter of 0 inc. The larger ball was sent to me, but it is too large to fit. This is something to be aware of before placing an order. the 1. The RAM Double Socket Arm is assigned a value of 0 by default.

C ball (heavy duty) There isn't much more to say than it's well-made and keeps my tablet in place on a bumpy boat

If the extra cost isn't a major consideration for you, I strongly suggest the C ball mount over the B ball mount.

Make sure you have a phone. For work, we rely on RAM products. In all of our equipment, there is a cell phone and tablet holder. It's secure and has lasted a long time; I'll definitely be purchasing more RAM parts and mounts in the future.
