It is not advised.
Total Length: 125"
There was only one spring.
Steel is used to construct the arm. RAM mounts have been used on both my boat and ATV. They are well-made, will not bend, and can withstand a great deal of torque. I would strongly suggest it.

So there you have it. This isn't the standard RAM mount size. The standard ball size for RAM Mount is 1". This is a one-star rating. For my trailer hitch, I need a 1/2" ball. This is not intended for use in a vehicle with a GPS unit, tablets, or phones. This was another bad purchase because I was in a hurry, and these people can't even put the ball SIZE IN THE DESCRIPTION! More wasteful spending, what a colossal waste of cash.
I would have passed if I had known it was primarily metal. But, on the other hand, I don't see any other option. br>br>Aluminum that is suitable for use in the marine environment? It's unlikely. I haven't even put it near salt water yet, and it's already rusting. It's also quite heavy. I would have preferred a clamp made of composite material. This is my fault for not thoroughly reading the description, and I will not be penalized for it. br>br>It holds up well, but it is extremely heavy. The clamp unit is put under a lot more stress as a result of this. Again, I'm to blame for not recognizing the metal. Rating. br>br> I'm going to take a point off because this is way too expensive for what it is. These should cost between $18 and $20 each. It's not worth more than $20, whether it's made of metal or composite. Manufacturing, materials, and engineering are the foundations of the industry. There's nothing about this that justifies such a high cost.
The only reason I'm getting the C size is that the B size, which is a 1" ball, doesn't last very long when used with a longer arm double socket. After about a year of use, the ball component becomes crushed and resembles a deflated ball. I've used it for my iPad and will be using it for my iPhone once I get the C size X-Size X-Size X-Size X-Size X-Size X-S grip.
10oz. Because it fits in my 4Runner and I use it off road, Ram Mount recommended that I buy this size. I believe that the number one is correct. The iPad could have been held comfortably in an inch case. This is a bit excessive in terms of size. br>br>It was only because of the weight that I gave it a lower rating. It's strong, it works well, and it's well-made, just like the rest of the Ram Mount line. made.
The ball mount concept is brilliant in that it simplifies the process of removing and replacing your equipment. For any application where RAM mounts would be useful, I would strongly suggest them.
When you buy an electric trolling motor, most, if not all, manufacturers tell you that you don't need one because their motors are built to be bounced around. Well, I have two high-end autocompass units that failed a week or two after their warranties expired, and the company refused to back up their products. As a result, I bought one of these bad boys, and it keeps my new motor locked in place, with no vibration, whether on the trailer or on the water. When it comes to trolling motors, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and this item, in my opinion, is the prescription for them to last as long as they should.
When I was removing my fish finder from my boat, I dropped my double socket in the lake. I bought another one because it allows me to adjust my electronics so that I can see them from anywhere on the boat. When traveling at high speeds, it tightens up and holds up against the chop on the water.
