Having a 705 and a 605 is the same thing. The 605 is just lacking some features from the 705 but it should fit. It is an easy task to replace the battery, but it would have been easier if they provided a replacement for the sticky cushion that has to be removed from the old and reapplied to the new battery.
While I have never taken apart a touring model, I do not know if these units will work since they are the same size. I am not sure, but like I said, I am not sure.
