The screws were easily removed with a #5 Torx, and a wood chisel was used to pry up the case. This battery performs better than the original

Installing this product was very simple. Several years ago, I bought a tool kit from Amazon that let me change smart device batteries. Because I already had the necessary tools, I only had to use the screwdriver It can be challenging to install the 4 Garmin screws since they are tight. It also takes a few minutes to plug in the new battery because the plug is so tiny. Everything seems to be going well so far. My phone charged fully in about an hour after it came out of the box. Whether this battery will last will have to be seen in the future.

There is no need to replace this battery since it is similar to original if not better

In most cases, the battery is fine, and probably better than the original one (which was the fault of the GPS manufacturer Garmin), but ordinary people might have difficulty opening the GPS to replace the battery without breaking the screen. This GPS has been designed by Garmin in order to force us to buy a new one every Garmin created it on a budget, but it's the thinnest battery I've ever seen in any electronic device.

I just wanted to let Garmin owners know they need to purchase a small smartphone in order to use this feature The Garmin case needs to be removed with a small electronics tool kit to remove the tiny Torx bit screws. A Hyper Tough kit made the job a breeze. I bought it at WalMart.
