A YES or NO depends on the amount of weight you put inside and how you secure it to the wall. My desk hasn't bent while holding two power bricks inside, so I installed it under the underside of my desk. You should not have any trouble mounting it to the wall into studs because it can hold anything you can fit inside

Instead of taking up the entire cable tray area with a power strip, I mounted a power strip next to the tray. Rather than being just one large flat area under my desk, it is boxed in at three different areas around my workstation (two side areas and a large keyboard drawer in the middle. ) so I planned on hiding all cables in the rear boxed area. 19 cables are contained in this tray ranging in size and weight, from thin and light speaker cables to thick and heavy power and display cables, laid out straight and with the extra length bundled 7/8" thick desktop is easily assembled with the included screws after predrilling and adding a single #10 washer per screw to aid in the installation process. There is more cable management I need to do with Velcro zip ties A zip-tie and adhesive may be used I have yet to install my tie mounts, but I am pleased with the results so far. I still have an extra tray. I highly recommend this product for organizing and quickly tossing loose cable tangles out of sight, or carefully tying and tying each cable, according to your preference.
My desk wires were a mess after I purchased a new one, as can be seen in the photo. My house was in desperate need to be clean, so this was the answer. There were also black plastic channels to conceal the wires which ran around the desk, but they were not easily visible. I achieved this clean look as a result of the two elements combined. I was able to install the self-tapping screws using a hand screwdriver. The wire trays are sturdy and the self-tapping screws are very easy to find. (I didn't have a drill handy at the time so a drill would have been easier). If you have a lot of cables and surge protectors, I highly recommend this. Keep in mind that the depth and height of your desk should also be considered. It occurs to me sometimes to hit my knees against the trays since my desk is about 20 inches deep. I need to lift my legs upward for this to happen, but if you have a desk that is lower than a kneeler and your knees are fairly close to the top of the desk, this item might present a problem.
Since I have had my computer desk, there have been tons of tangled cables. I didn't give a damn about it until I moved my desk next to the office door and you could clearly see the mess as soon as you entered. This is the setup I used to route cables under my desk. To go with the new desk in the house, I purchased this item. After opening the box and starting to measure the way it would be attached to the desk, I absolutely loved this product. As soon as I read the instructions, I highly recommend you do so. In the box that came with it, they have a measuring tool. It is simply a template that must be cut out. An ingenious idea that got my life going in a better direction. It holds great in place and is very sturdy. Anyone can take advantage of this but you have to read the instructions first so you don't stumble like I did.
Despite the fact that they are all overpriced, these wire racks are as nice as any others. The screws and washers that come with the kit make installation easy. As far as the size of the tray is concerned, this is the largest I could find (actual width and depth of the tray). I was also surprised by how stiff it is given the diameter of the wire. large enough for me to put my seagate hard drive on its side, so I had to hold it up on one side. It's not a big deal, but I'm slightly sad about it. Despite being mounted side by side, they are perfect for a 48" desk. This is the standard size for desktops. However, there's still a little space on either side. I'd definitely buy another one.
It's not my fault that the wires are not fixed yet as I have just hung the rack. Based on other reviews and the warning about the rack with the Ikea desk top, I would rather not purchase this rack. This is the Skartsa desk top that I have. A chair on which I installed my AI sit and stand legs and motor over three years ago, and it's still going strong. think some people have overloaded the racks, which is why they were unable to fully use the racks. You shouldn't have to lift more than 10 lbs to move a power strip. Due to the length of the screws, I used arm strength to install them and also secured them to the table with washers, which prevented the screws from going through the table.
