The reason I bought the ducts was that they were cheaper than my regular Neatpatch cable management ducts. Bad move. The pros include It's easy to install, looks decent, and is easy to use. I had to cut one of the tongs on these off in order to get the cable to go where I needed it, which is a downside. I actually had to cut one of the tongs In the past few years, I have regretted trying to save a few bucks by buying this.
I bought a 1 u wire management that is too short. After learning that lesson, I bought this guy. I like the construction and the material is really good. The back is metal, thick plastic fingers and the front cover is very easy to install. This can even be used to store a few wires rather than having to find space inside the rack in order to do so.
A former manager of my data closet had a bunch of cables stuck to each other all over the place. This was the first place I stopped, and they used no cable management. It looks and works clean and sleek, and the ease of use is great. I needed it to do exactly what I wanted.
I worked it out. The plate was all that was needed and there was room for it. By drilling off the rivits and removing the cable tray, you can remove the This plate was cut in such a way that I couldn't find I think it might be more practical to only offer.
The product described is perfect.
A great cable management system! If you need to manage lots of Cat5 or Cat6 cables for large network deployments, this is a great system to use.
The odds are that you may look at this and think, "I could never fit all my cables in here", but that is not the case! Ethernet running through it is like butter, as it effortlessly handles ethernet of all CATs. It gets even better when you think there is no hope. Close the cover with a boom. It's now as if you're using pure imagination on your network with no cables exposed.
It is a good product in general, but the fingers are too tight to accommodate more than two cat6 cable at once.
