It was the first time I had heard of a "cable raceway," but I figured it was worth a try, and $25 wasn't that much to spend on an initial purchase. My realization of how useful this was didn't occur to me until the package arrived. It would be most convenient for me to relocate my PC to the other side of my desk if the tracks ran up one side of it, across the back, and down the other side again. It would have been difficult to do this otherwise because of the huge number of cables. Despite being large enough to fit all of my PC cables inside, the cable raceway does not look ghastly when it stands out. These plastic pieces are flexible enough so that you can place them just about anywhere, but are stiff enough so that cables do not fall out or sag. The pieces had to be cut to fit in smaller gaps, but I was able to do so using some tin snips.
