As long as it does what it is meant to do, it works well. I installed it in two minutes and that was it. My cords and a couple power bricks should work just fine with it. It's a little flimsy, but I don't think it's going to be too much of a problem. This one was chosen because it claimed to have a 5-star rating Approximately half of my Belkin surge protector will fit in the available space of this space. That does not seem to have happened, maybe it's I have a surge protector that is an inch and a half in diameter and will not fit. Even though this is a decent little unit and largely does what it is supposed to, unless it is on sale I would not buy something like this again and instead purchase a model that is less expensive and has more functionality.

Please note that. It was discovered that an underside of one of the trays was exposed because the protective coating was chipped. Please note that. In the case of an already assembled desk, the installation may be a little difficult. In order to install the cable trays, I flipped the wooden desktop upside down on the ground so that it lays flat on it. One solution would be for the manufacturer to include a template that could be taped to the underside of the desk so that holes can be drilled. In order to install these screws with the included lead holes, I purchased this product, while fully understanding that drilling holes beneath the desktop was necessary. Removed all peripherals and laptops from the desktop, and then cleaned it up As I struggled to flip over the desk, my son decided to help. Two measurements were taken, and one hole was drilled. Holding each tray in place after I screwed in the leads, my son held the tray in place. There were two of us on this project, so bingo, bango, bongo! I did it. It is sturdy enough to hold an array of switching power supplies and lite cabling to and from the devices it is associated with. To provide power, I placed in one of the trays a Tripp Lite SUPER7B power supply. Very nice of you to relocate those devices so that your desktop real estate could be reclaimed The USB 3. 0 port has three ports. Including the USB 3. 0 Hub, CalDigit, LG switching power supplies, an SSD in an external enclosure with AC adapter, Tripp Lite AND the power supply for my work laptop as well - in total I have everything I need to get my work done today. Quite a bit of space left over. The cable runs to my CalDigit Dock can be seen in the photo under the desktop hutch. This is a clean and simple form. The height of my desk is adjustable and it is also movable. I place the cable tray under my desk so that I can keep all my cords and the power strip tucked away, so that I can move or adjust my desk with one cable. You can easily reign in your cords with this method!.

It does the job, but I would have liked it to be a little more robust. It sags when I connect it to a laptop power supply and it does not cope well with Tripp-Lite Surge protector for lite computers. The ring isn't going to break off, but may not be as strong as I'd like it.
This is a sturdy surge protector that is well suited to larger Belkin surge protectors. The bottoms are wide enough so that if you put two on a regular size desk it'll take up most of the space but you'll need plenty of space as there are likely to be a lot of wires to organize. Have purchased two sets already and cannot fault them.
