A few weeks ago, I bought a new pair of black and color socks from Amazon. Unfortunately, it appears the pair I received were defective. The screen is constantly blocked with black blotches, the color is weak, the screen is constantly displaying error messages, and there is no improvement despite multiple attempts at alignment and cleaning all contact points. The issues were clearly resolved by replacing them with another set of new ink cartridges, so the issue was at the ink cartridge level, not of the printer itself. The net result is that I'm over $50 in the hole. It is best to be cautious when buying.

Hopefully, the black cartridge will arrive soon! There hasn't been time for me to complete this review, but I am sorry for the delay. As I will need to print some copies of the document, I decided I should rate it now before making them. About 20 copies of each copy of the black ink cartridge were printed before it ran out. It is even more aggravating because there was little writing on the item I was copying. I needed to fill out a collection of forms (insurance) that mostly had blank spaces for my personal information. The colored ink cartridges hadn't been used by me since I hadn't had the need for them, so I can't say anything about them.

As you can see, I printed slightly more than 130 pages using this cartridge, even with the draft setting switched on and 90% of the documents being in black and white. *p. s. *p. s. Although I print very little these days, I find that when I edit my own writing, I edit it better when I read it while lying in bed as I print off the pages.
