It doesn't last very long for the absurdly high cost of a quarter's worth of ink. Instead of robbing us blind, why don't you try to please your customers? Canon, you should be ashamed of yourself! I made an attempt to use a non-traditional approach. I tried to print with Canon ink and it wouldn't let me, prompting me to send error messages. You might think you've got me cornered, but here's the thing: you don't. when this thing is finished. Do you think I'll be looking for a specific brand? Not at all, Canon!.

Instead of relying on the description, you should rely on the picture. I am confident that the cartridge is in good working order. However, the listing for "Canon 251 Cyan" shows a picture of 251 Y, so I assumed the color text description was correct and the photo was incorrect. The picture, on the other hand, was correct, while the "color/style description" was incorrect. Is it really too much to expect accurate descriptions and images from Amazon? Now I have to order Cyan again and wait for my printer to work for a few more days.

5x11. I consider these printers disposable, and I simply discard them once the print head "dies," which appears to be the most common cause of printer failure. It's pointless to have them repaired because they'll cost more than the printer. br>br>Of course, when Canon (and others) introduces a new printer series, older ink cartridges become obsolete. Got it? This is essentially a legal method of separating a customer from his or her funds. Do you have enough cartridges to last you a while? Who in their right mind would do such a thing? When the print head fails, the cartridges are rendered useless, so replace them as needed. When ink is running low, the printer "warns" you (no, it won't run out that quickly) so you can order replacement ink. br>br>Canon gives these printers away for free. Why? In order for them to sell you ink that is more expensive than the printer. Canon isn't the only one who does this. When you compare the prices of ink for different printer brands, you'll notice that they're all playing the same game. br>br>Despite this, I must say that the print quality is excellent, especially considering the printer's price. The money is sucked from your pocket by the ink.

Buy this ink if you want to print something truly unique on truly unique paper that will look truly unique on a truly unique wall. It's fantastic at what it does. Many Canon printers, on the other hand, accept lower-cost ink. They aren't as vibrant as the manufacturer's ink, but they work just as well and are much less expensive.

The quality of the print is excellent. There are no issues with the product's quality. It's a genuine Canon product; I tried cheaper brands in the hopes of getting the same quality for less money, but I've discovered that it's not worth it to go with a non-Canon brand. Ink jet printers use a lot of ink, so if you print in color, you'll have to spend a lot of money on ink, so I try to print in black and white as much as possible. The price is comparable to that of other Amazon sellers, but it is less expensive and more convenient than physical stores. This cartridge does not have a long life span. It quickly depletes. It's nothing special, but it gets the job done. One piece of advice: don't turn on and off your printer because it processes the inkjets each time you do so, wasting more ink. It's best if you leave the printer turned on for the entire day. I'd recommend purchasing the cartridges as a set to save money. I only needed this in a pinch, and my kids seem to print more blue stuff than anything else. Children, oh, how they irritate me!.

This product appealed to me because it was original equipment manufacturer, or so I thought. The cartridge was not wrapped in cellophane when I opened the box, which I believe is standard practice. I've changed these cartridges hundreds of times with no problems, but when I removed the orange tab this time, ink spilled (not leaked, but spilled) out of the cartridge - I had ink all over my hands and a nice pair of pants, and it was still dripping when I got home. I had purchased two, but there was something off about this one. I didn't want to risk a repeat of the first cartridge's mishap, so I'm returning both. 04/25: After several attempts to clean them, I'm left with indelible blue ink on the ruined pants and faded blue streaks on my hands (some of which I was able to remove with a toothbrush and Barkeeper's Friend cleanser). Unlike this one, the OEM cartridge I recently received from another source came out of the box with cellophane wrapped around it. I don't have time to look into it further, but I have to wonder if this was a brand-new, not outdated or badly "refurbished," defective cartridge. To be honest, I have no idea. I'm well aware that it was an expensive and aggravating purchase for me.

It is overpriced. It's ink. Sure, cover your development costs, and kudos for being slightly less expensive than HP, but this is still way too expensive. Canon, you're well aware of this, and you're also well aware that we require this equipment, particularly if we work from home. br>Every now and then, I'll have a glass of Verve Cliqot champagne. It's incredible, but it's also quite costly. Because this is all subjective, I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I believe my favorite champagne is far less expensive than this ink. Sure, it's good ink, but wouldn't it be better if the price were lowered a little?.

They simply do not last long enough for photo printing. br>br>The results are far superior to any other online photo store I've used in the past - CVS, Snapfish, and Shutterfly are just a few of the places where you can get your photo taken. br>I used to work in photography, and YES, there is a difference between printing at home with Canon paper and printing at a professional lab. inks. br>br>The cartridges simply do not last long enough for me to justify continuing to use them. br>br>With my Pixma 7520, I get approximately 50 4x6" prints after filling all six ink tanks. br>br>I've been trying to 'push it' and print after the lights come on to change the ink after reading reviews. So far, it appears that this method allows me to print significantly more. br>I'd love it if these inks were more affordable because they're so beautiful.
