The original IBM M keyboard I have (with the curly cord) is in good condition. As soon as you switch to a seated position The cord I needed to extend from my tower computer was too short to fit under the stand desk. There is no problem using this cord for that purpose. It's a great price for a great product. It is a cable I recommend without reservation.
There was no way to use it. It connected to my PC, but when I switched on the screen was all over the place, like if I was pressing 10 buttons at once. Maybe I just got really unlucky, but it was like throwing away a $10 box. As a matter of fact, I disposed of the cable in the trash.
The PS/2 keyboard I still have is still working. Yes, I agree. There will be no change to my PS/2 keyboard. It will stay connected. I recall, however, that we were always 3 feet from our computers when we were working. The item works as it should. Apparently my keyboard can now be hot-plugged. I am not sure if this is a PS/2 feature I am not aware of, but it seems it has worked. In what way?.
The keyboard was too far away from the computer when it was built. The cable worked perfectly.
My dad always complains about how far I sit from the TV - now I can sit further away.
It's just what I needed to use an old mechanical keyboard, the length is great, the cable isn't stiff, and it even has a PS/2 connector, so for Monoprice what better can you expect, they're even known for making top notch.
As an extension to my Yaesu FT-1000 programming interface, I use this device A radio using the 8800 frequency. Basically, I connected the radio to the center console using a wire running through the dash facia. I like how it works.
It is used for my computer and radio.
