I don't have a Fire TV to test this on, but it should work if your television supports Bluetooth connections. This controller has a Bluetooth and Android mode, so it should work with the Fire Things that run on Android. I hope this information is useful.
Unfortunately, there is no audio jack on this controller.
To do so, you'll require a computer or a Mac.

It doesn't have NFC, but the buttons and movement are nice, and it took me a few minutes to get used to where the thumbsticks are for my girl hands, but it's still comfortable overall. It's a godsend to be able to quickly turn turbo on and off for any button(s). Send when you're picking up a bunch of things or making a wish on the stars. br>br>The controller's material and construction feel very sturdy. I threw my controller at the couch in a fit of rage, causing one of the triggers to pop off. However, it was fully operational. Because I couldn't locate the missing component, I contacted the company directly. Their representative responded quickly and took my information with patience. And he even warned me that because of Covid, it might take a long time to arrive. It took that long boat ride from China, but that part was delivered to me free of charge about two months later. And the part snapped right back into place without a hitch! Customer service is outstanding! br>br>I would strongly advise anyone looking for a main wireless controller for their Switch to get this. It also works on PC, iOS, and Android, which is a plus. The customer service is outstanding.
I'm a big fan of this controller. On the Nintendo Switch, I've mostly used it to play Pokémon Sword/Shield and Animal Crossing New Horizons. I've only used it once on a PC after entering macros. The macros function is too fast to be useful for many functions, but the rest of the controller's features work flawlessly. While playing on the Nintendo Switch, the turbo functions are simple to activate and deactivate on the fly. I have not fully tested the battery life because I charge the controller at night, but I can say that it is adequate. During this lockdown, I've played for 12 hours and the controller has lasted the entire time. You can also remove the rechargeable battery pack and use regular AA batteries (x2) instead, which is what I did when it first arrived. This controller will not turn on the Nintendo Switch like a first-party controller, but let's be honest: We're on high alert for a pandemic. Take a stroll over to the dock and press the button. br>br>Here's a pro tip if you're playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons: During the meteor shower, turn on the 'A' button's turbo mode and place a guitar capo on the button while looking up at the sky (not holding tools) and then just set her down. I would like to add a picture of how I have the capo placed on the controller, but it appears that Amazon has removed the customer photo section of the review process. AFK meteor farming with this controller and a guitar capo provided more than enough star fragments to craft anything for a long time. I'd advise you to go with the spring-loaded option. capo, rather than the old snap-back capo over or cable tension type, as these could cause the controller to malfunction.
This is on par with any OEM controller. If I had an XBox, I'd probably use this instead of the OEM controller because I despise the layout and feel of the XBox controller. This fits my hands perfectly. br>br>I purchased this as part of a Retro setup. Except for 64 games, it seems to work with everything. Those have bizarre layouts, and it almost always auto-configures to whatever I'm using it for. I bought it after reading some reviews that said it was one of the best RetroArch items available. The ease with which you can set up for RA is almost mind-boggling. In short, it feels just as good as or better than OEM controllers when playing anything. So, if you want to play anything with something that feels like a PS controller, give one a try. I'll be getting two more of these in the near future because I want to have four of them. When I replaced those controllers on my PS3, I wish I had purchased this.
What a fantastic controller you've got there. I use it as a PC controller, and it works flawlessly with Forza Horizon on Xbox Game Pass when set to X-Control. (Hold the'start' and 'X' buttons down until two lights flash on the indicators before plugging into PC). On Steam, it's detected as a Nintendo Switch controller by default, but as a Generic or Dual Shock controller when in X-Box One mode. the mode of input The presence of analog triggers effectively corrects the flaws in the Pro Controller's driving game functionality. After experiencing HD rumble, the rumble seems a little silly. It reminds me of the rumble feedback from the past. This controller is adequate for Smash Ultimate, but the Pro Controller, in my opinion, outperforms it in this application. It's a step up from the Joy Cons on the Smash controller accessory, but that's not a fair comparison. In any case, no other third-party controller should be considered if you want to use it on both the Switch and the PC. This one is on par with the first-party controller in terms of quality.
This is a fantastic product. The SN30 Pro was a favorite of mine, and this is a huge improvement. It's simple to get help and set things up. The only issue I have is that I can't seem to figure out how to turn it on. br>br>When it's docked, I mostly use it to play my Switch. br>br>All you have to do now is download the 8bitdo program and check for updates every now and then.
The fact that the left thumb stick is at the bottom irritates me. My hand naturally wants to move that toggle in games, but it's in an awkward position for me. It's possible that this is due to the size of my hands. Since the controls are set up similarly to a Playstation controller, I have no problems with them. br>Apart from that, it appears to be durable, and the turbo function is effective. My computer doesn't support macro testing, so I haven't been able to do so.
Overall, this is a fantastic controller. I only have one minor criticism. Instead of being under the battery, the sticker that gives you power on shortcuts should be on the battery door. I moved it there, it fits perfectly, and it's a lot easier to check if I forget one than it is to remove the battery.
