Questions & Answers

Is this mouse pad compatible with my MacBook Pro?

This question has resulted in the sale of 10,000 mouse pads on its own.

Does this work on Windows 8, despite the fact that it says Windows: What are the differences between Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7?

It didn't work for me on Windows 8. When I upgraded to version 8, I noticed a significant difference in performance. 1 It initially worked, but after a few hours of use, it crashed the computer. When I contacted Microsoft, they informed me that I would have to purchase the blue version.

How big is this thing?

6" x 10" 6 inch. I had never purchased a gaming pad before, only mouse pads, so I was taken aback by the size (I didn't read the description before purchasing and was simply looking for a reasonably priced pad).

Air Hockey = QcK Hard; Limited Edition QcK = Victory
3/5

Medium QcK Hard Size ($30): three starsbr>br>The tracking on this "pad" is incredible, but the glide makes it difficult to control the tracking. It's as if I'm playing a game of air hockey. Perhaps it's because of my DeathAdder mouse and the pad's very smooth feet, but the glide is excessive. I couldn't keep my crosshairs still when doing nothing in FPS games, which made precision snapping difficult. Also, with this pad, my quick mouse movements in FPS games were too loud (especially when playing in a group). br>br>The pad is well-made and long-lasting, and it's probably worth the money if your mouse doesn't glide as smoothly as mine. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br I exchanged the QcK Hard for a QcK Limited (cloth type with stitched edge, size medium, $20): 5 out of 5 stars This one tracks just as well as the Hard version, but it doesn't make me feel like I'm playing air hockey in a gunfight. This model is preferable to the Hard version. The build quality is excellent, and the stitching appears to be durable enough to withstand the rigors of FPS combat. Additionally, it is less expensive. br>br>It's a bit ridiculous that a variety of product styles are all grouped together under one product item, resulting in reviews being shared. The styles differ so much that a review for one (QcK Hard) does not necessarily imply a review for another (QcK Limited Cloth Stitched Edge). Furthermore, because the majority of reviewers do not specify which style they purchased, their feedback is generally useless.

Shouldn't be referred to as a mouse pad
5/5

I purchased a hard steel series pad so that I could use my mouse while sitting on my couch. It was great until my cat found out about it. I can only use about 2 inches of it now, but the surface works well with the high dpi setting on my Steelseries mouse.

I like the 25 to 50% of this mouse pad I can use
5/5

I really like the 25 to 50% of this mouse pad I can use. My cats appear to like the 50 to 75% of this mouse pad they use. This mouse pad is used by both me and my cats on a daily basis. The 25 to 50% of the mouse pad that I can use at any time works really well for me. I have no trouble moving my mouse, and it is very smooth. Because the pad's bottom is rubbery, it won't move. br>br>My cats seem to like this mouse pad because it is flat, sits on my desk, and they aren't in the way when they sit on it. I'm afraid they'll both sleep on it one day, and I'll be unable to use any of the mouse pads. br>br>Anyway, I recommend this mouse / cat pad if you need a good mouse pad or a place for your cats to sleep.

I'm still disappointed that we got different products even though they were supposed to be the same
4/5

This is not the same product that you would get if you bought it from Steelseries' official website. br>br>My brother paid $38 for his from Steelseries. Due to previous experiences with Steelseries mousepads sold by Amazon, we had some reservations about the differences and quality of the mousepads. So, for the sake of comparison, I bought mine from Amazon. There is a distinction between the rubber found beneath the mousepad and the rubber found on top of the mousepad. Steelseries appears to be selling one from a more recent revision or model. When the multiple logos on the back are held up at a certain angle, they shine brightly; however, when we did this with mine, there was very little shine and it appeared to be of lower quality. This alone demonstrates that the mousepads sold here and on their official website are manufactured differently; my guess is that Amazon is carrying older models of the mousepad, but I'm not sure. br>br>In terms of the actual surface, I don't think there's much of a difference. Both mousepads feel the same when I use them with a mouse and when I feel them with my hand. br>br>I paid around $28 for mine, so choosing Amazon saves you $10. Even though we bought them within a week of each other, I'm still disappointed that we got different products. However, I believe the cost savings were justified, and I believe they are essentially the same product with minor differences.

This mouse pad is fantastic
5/5

This is a fantastic mouse pad. I used to use only the standard QcK pad, but now I'm using my girlfriend's desk-based QcK pad. which she refinished over a period of time- I needed something to protect the wood from my computer's peripherals and other miscellaneous items. The XXL is ideal because it provides enough room for my mouse, keyboard, and headset while also allowing me to place my phone in front of me (see photo). It's also a little thicker than the standard QcK, which I like, and I'd recommend it.

Get your hands on a copy of the original QCK
4/5

This is the pad that I use the most. I've tried almost every Logitech, Razer, and Steelseries soft pad, including the limited and heavy versions. br>br>The heavy comes in second, but the thinner QCK is slightly faster and has a little more control. This is simply the result of a slight increase in friction. Yes, the thinner pad generates more heat and friction. Light mice work well with this. At 53 grams, I'm currently using a Cooler Master MM710. Highly recommended. br>br>.

It appears to be very appealing
5/5

It's a fantastic addition to my setup, and it's very smooth, allowing my mouse to glide across it with ease. I tell my friends about it because it's a fantastic gaming surface. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> As a result, the mouse pad's lower left corner is no longer lit up. I was in the middle of a long gaming session at the time, so I took a break for lunch, and when I returned, my purple color had turned green. The bottom left corner of my mouse pad would not color match the rest of the mouse pad after restarting my computer, plugging and unplugging the usb connection, and even reinstalling the Steelseries engine app. It was set to purple in Zones 1 and 2, and it lit up red and pink in Zones 3 and 4. Still a 5 star rating because Amazon refunded my money and I just reordered it because I believe my gaming pad was defective in some way.
