The packaging is good, and the metal parts are adequate, but the opening tool was far too sharp, making it difficult to work with. Because the plastic tools were mostly bent, tips broke, or couldn't be used because of poor quality or simply too thick, use caution when handling the opening tool to avoid cutting your hand. Regardless, I was able to finish the task at hand; it just took a lot longer, and the plastic tools were not reusable.

My laptop's RAM needed to be upgraded, so I needed some tools. Everything I needed was included in this kit. Because I did not use the suction cup or the double-sided tape included in the kit, I am unable to comment on the'suction power' or 'adhesion. ' The wedges and small screwdrivers were essential. In the categories where I am unable to comment, I have given it three stars. I'll update my review once I've tried out the suction cup and tape.

There is a good selection of prying tools and spudgers, but: br>There isn't a T5 Torx driver to be found. The closest one in this kit (Yellow) does not fit T5, and is somewhere between T5 and T6. Tested on some screws that an iFixit t5 fits perfectly. On one side of the metal pry tool, there were stamping burrs along the edges (scratch prone). I took a sander to them and sanded them down. br>The double-sided tape has a thicker thickness (0. Multiple strips will be required to hold wider items than the usual clear stuff used in phones, which is 13mm wide but extremely narrow at 2mm. Thankfully, this is not the case.

Two of the blue side-opening tools were the first tools I used from this kit. I paused and switched to the second tool after the first flexed so badly that the plastic became white from stress. When I put more pressure on it, it snapped. Fortunately (and cynically), I had been concerned that the tools might not be up to par. I had to order a second set from a different seller because the first set was of poor quality. Their tool worked fine and did not stress or break, implying that the problem is with the tools themselves, not with my use of them.

2 SSD. The star- The first three screws I attempted to remove with the included shaped tool were stripped. Furthermore, the photos depict multiple star screw drivers when, in reality, there were flat head and phillips screw drivers where there should have been star-shaped.

Waterproofing and securing the back were both made possible by the use of tape. The tools are adequate for the job and, if handled with care, can be reused (unlike some other reviews that claimed plastic tools were flimsy, these are sturdy enough for multiple uses if handled with care). This is an excellent tool kit, especially considering the cost.

This is an excellent tool set that is desperately needed. This is a must-have for anyone who wants to do odd jobs with their phone or other small electronics. When purchased as an 'Add On,' it provides excellent value for money. The tape has a strong grip and can be used to make solid repairs. At the Add On price, it's a steal.
