The bits themselves are of poor quality. The tip of the Y00 bit had a slight bend after my first use. It's visible in the photo on the left side of the tip. Come on, it's only been one use. This kit appealed to me because it included the T3 bit that I was looking for. After a few uses, the bit became twisted, and I was still unable to remove the screw I needed. Their bits are not hardened, as another reviewer pointed out, and this is evidence of that. br>br>I really like how this kit is presented. But it's a shame that the quality of these clips is so poor. For $70, this set should be top-notch in terms of functionality, not just aesthetics. Also, there is no mention of where they are made on the packaging or on their website. It may say under this bar code, but I couldn't remove it without damaging it. I discovered they're made in China after doing some research. Not to say that all Chinese-made products are bad; they do make some excellent products; however, not all businesses are alike, and some will cut corners wherever they can. br>br>These bits will not last long, and this company realizes it, which is why they come with a lifetime warranty. It's probably less expensive for them to replace the bad/broken parts rather than create better ones. br>br>For the money, you could get some higher-quality sets made in the United States or Germany. Those will cost a little more in the end, but they will last much longer and probably a lifetime. br>br>I am returning these and will never buy from them again.

I recently purchased a stand-alone iFixit tool kit. I've been wanting the roll-up version for a long time, but they don't sell it any longer. That was far superior to this. This one was a must-have for me. I received it, and I'm guessing the iFixit brand is losing its luster. It is missing several drill bits that a typical technician would require, such as a T6 for Macs. I had no choice but to return it, and I'm hoping that iFixit will look into it. At all costs, stay away from this product. In a literal sense!.

POOO, on the other hand, is far too short! I like the variety of items in this kit, and they're all useful, but the Philips 000 and 00 bits should be a few millimeters longer. The photo shows that Y000 is long, but P000 is oddly short, and that the short 2 Triangle bit will not be able to reach any McDonald's toys for the kids. The removal of the two P000 M1 was a nightmare for me. 4 x 3. 2mm screws from a decommissioned HP ElitePad I'm sorry to report that the P000 from what I thought was a junk Harbor Freight set actually worked to remove the screws where the iFixit driver and bits had failed. The tray for holding the screws, including the six inside that hold down the battery, the spudgers and blue pry tools for getting the case open (the suction cup sort of worked but is crap so fail for that piece as well), the driver, which is very smooth and fits very well for delicate and precise hand held work, and the tweezers for grabbing dropped screws began to show themselves once that painful and embarrassing experience was over. The way the foam holds the bits is very appealing to me. Very tidy and well-organized, with access to and from the back. I'd like P000 and P00 to be 3mm longer each, as well as 2 Triangle bits to be 5mm longer. The people who are machining the bit could easily do this with the existing bits because there is plenty of steel hanging out of the holder that could be machined down to the OD of the working end of the bit without affecting the way the driver holds the bits in any way.
