Questions & Answers
This is not a Singapore product; this is an Arab product; I made the same mistake with 97000; it is an Arab product. 95310 was made in Singapore, and I learned the hard way not to make the same mistake twice.
SINGAPORE was the source of the discs I received. The standard of excellence continues to be maintained.
These are manufactured in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Single layer DVDs can only be burned on older computers with a DVD recorder. My old vista laptop can read but not write to dual layer DVDs. Because of the amount of data, the majority of newer mocies are backed up on dual layer discs. They are compatible with my Windows 7 laptop and work perfectly.

archiving of layers They have a firm grasp on the technology, particularly in terms of emulsion stability on the disk surface. Nearly two decades ago, I remember putting my faith in generics. After the burn, I double-checked the data and found it to be in good shape. br> Then came the DISK ERROR, TOC UNREADABLE message a few days later. Thank God it only screwed me up on that one disk. br>br>As a result, don't put your faith in generics. Brand names, such as HP, Kodak, and Memorex, are also suspect. br>In fact, it was a Memorex engineer who taught me about dye emulsion stability as a key factor in dual-color printing. functionality of the layers VERBATIM was his strong recommendation. These blanks are more than a buck each, but isn't your information worth it?.
Blank DVDs are no longer as popular as they once were in the year 2020. The era of recordable media is unmistakably coming to a close. br>br>However, some of us, including myself, continue to burn a large number of optical discs, including many DVD R DL discs. Verbatim has been the gold standard for nearly two decades. Frequently imitated, rarely equaled, and almost never surpassed. The DVD R DL product from Verbatim was and continues to be the most expensive, but you always got what you paid for. That all changed with the latest batch I just bought, which had flawless burns, excellent compatibility, and an excellent shelf life. br>br> These discs are all duds, made in the UAE like countless Verbatim DVD R DL's I've used in the past, and burned with the same software, on the same equipment, and at the same speeds. I used my iHAS 124B to scan one back with Opti Drive Control, and it was terrible. As the data neared the limit, the number of errors increased dramatically. This is more common on low-cost Chinese discs than on Verbatims. And I don't believe these discs are counterfeit; They have the same fit and finish that I've come to expect from them over the years. br>br>I tried 8x and 4x, as well as turning "Hypertuning" on and off (which can sometimes make a difference), but none of them worked. It's a turkey batch for this batch. I have a Chinese-style spinning wheel. Here, we make Optical Quantum discs, which are the cheapest DVD R DLs on the market. The Verbatims are the polar opposite of the Verbatims. They are far superior in scanning. Of course, it's not quite as good as my previous Verbatim DL discs, but it's a far cry from this dreadful batch. This spindle will be returned to its original position. br>br>Keep buying these discs, and don't let my bad experience make you lose faith in a product that has been excellent for nearly two decades. However, to avoid being caught off guard, make sure you scan your burns. It's not 2004 any longer, and we can't afford to take top-of-the-line equipment. Optical media of high quality is taken for granted.
This product appeals to me because it provides ample storage for my home-made videos. What I don't like about it is that it gave me false information about RW. When I'm on RW, I'm able to re-enter the world. 1000 times recording I received five DVDs in a box, two of which recorded well, but the other three did not. Mike was one of the people I spoke with at the Tech- We tried some troubleshooting at Verbatim and had some success. taking pictures It didn't work out. I'd like to see the three replaced, as well as RW's capabilities. Please accept my sincere gratitude for taking the time to read this message. I'm excited to collaborate with all of you. I just finished speaking with Mike once more, and I'm having no luck with him. My "proof of purchase" can be found in my Amazon orders. Any other time, a dealer would act quickly to resolve the issue at hand, but Mike at Tech-Nation is not one of them. Verbatim is a great way to show your support. Customer service is extremely poor.
This product has been working flawlessly for me - to the present time. Due to media sector errors, four out of fifty are coasters. The failure rate is quite high. Clearly, there is a problem with quality control. The banding and void/splotch where the disk writer skipped over the bad sector can be seen in the attached picture. Obviously, there is a problem with the disk. In addition to posting this review, I will write to Verbatim. Based on other reviews, I believe Verbatim has relocated its manufacturing operations from Singapore to the United Arab Emirates. The majority of the negative feedback was posted recently. In the month of February 2018, I made a purchase. Be careful who you buy from.
If you're going to burn DVDs, this is the brand to go with. Many Dual Layer DVDs are poorly manufactured and burn poorly. I purchased a total of two 50-packs.
I've been waiting until I've used all of the disks in the three packages I purchased, and I have to say, I feel cheated at $1 per disk. I expected a much higher quality product, as I purchased these for a project that required DL disks. I used all 150 disks, but 50 of them were defective and total wastes, resulting in a loss of $50. I never finished my project because I needed all 150 disks but didn't want to buy another mystery set of disks that wouldn't work, so I never finished it. The only thing I can say is that those who did work did an excellent job, and I'm pleased with how they turned out. They worked in my son's PS4 as well as the DVD player.
This was a complete squander of funds. I finally got around to burning some DVDs and organizing the family's home videos, and so far, four out of six have errors and will not burn. The majority of them appear to be defective and do not function at all. Make sure you don't throw your money away. After reading numerous reviews, I assumed these would work, but I am extremely disappointed.
