Editing Functionality: The editing functionality in Resolve is designed to handle TV dramas, commercials, multi-camera productions, and all other project types from small to large. The trimming tool is context-sensitive, which means that depending on where you place the mouse cursor on the timeline, Resolve will automatically switch to the trimming function you need, allowing you to ripple, roll, slip, slide, or extend and shorten your footage without having to manually splice it.
Resolve is a node-based color grading system, with nodes acting as similar layers. Each node can have color correction, isolated areas (power windows), and effects, and an unlimited number of nodes can be linked together sequentially or in parallel. Overall, you can mix and match grades, effects, mixers, keys, and plug-ins to create a variety of color effects and looks.
Resolve also has the ability to edit metadata, sync audio, and prepare footage for editing, grading, or visual effects. Resolve can export to almost any format and includes powerful delivery options such as versioning, finishing, and delivery at any resolution and format, allowing you to export to a variety of destinations.

Yes, that is correct. This was recently placed on my order. The dongle enables you to use Da Vinci Resolve 17 studio, which you can download from the website.
Is this included in the Studio edition of DR 17?
Yes, it includes a DR17 dongle.
Why are you charging a premium for software that is available for free from black magic design? shame?
This is only included with the full Studio Version, not the free version.
Is there an activation code included with this, or is that something you have to purchase separately?
The dongle is required because it will activate both DaVinci Resolve and Fusion 17 standalone. The activation code, on the other hand, is not going to work.

Yes, it is, and it is a fantastic bargain! The product is brand new and has never been opened. Using the serial that came with the dongle, go online and download the Studio version of the software. Everything is in working order. What a system!.

I purchased this for the dongle rather than the editor, and I can confirm that the dongle will activate both DaVinci Resolve and Fusion 17 standalone.
