In this case, they may be rewriteable since they are DVD+RW. Behind the disc description, there should be a RW. The discs created by Verbatim are not manufactured by the company themselves. Furthermore, they use a variety of manufacturers, as far as I know. It should be Mitsubishi's superior Verbatim AZO discs on this page, which are manufactured to an exceptionally high standard. It is manufactured by CMC Magnetics and is lower quality than Verbatim DataLifePlus. of these types of discs is actually manufactured by Verbatim. In most CD, DVD, and BD recordable disc brands, this is a standard practice.
Considering they did not have "Life Series" on the label, I doubt it, but one thing is for sure --- I used ALL of them without a single issue --- IT WAS A FANTASTIC REACH!
The laser burns both sides of the label at bottom half, and I would say the burned side is lavender, almost identical to what you see.

The following has been updated as of November A recent sale of Verbatim took place. My experience with quality issues has been the same as other people who reported them as their business model wound down in the last two years. Though the quality is still better than most major brands, they are no longer as good as they once were. My new favorite DVD player is the Falcon Premium DVD player I recommend it That's not the Pro, that's not the Dualin, that's The Falcon brand discs have been amazing for me, so I would recommend getting them from the Premium line. Despite being a little more expensive, these are worth the cost. As far as high quality optical discs are concerned, Falcon is probably the last company to produce them. The discs are just as good as old Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden ones. The old review was as follows I believe these are the best dvd+rs available right now. The quality continues to be top notch. Discs of this caliber simply cannot be topped for their durability, accurate, reflectivity, compatibility, and appearance. The discs on which I've played have only ever been damaged a few times over the years. At this point, all optical media seems to be made in Taiwan, the only optical media factory in the world that can produce high quality media. The last time I rode a coaster was many years ago. a great number of these discs that are 11-14 years old and they have little to no degradation on them. The songs play fine. They scan either the same now as when they were originally made or with a very very tiny increase in almost all The scan more smoothly than most other manufacturers' discs when new, and I expect them to last decades longer than any other type. If you must store them indoors, make sure they are kept away from light and far from any heat or air conditioning vents. There is no need to worry about M-'s high prices Disks and gold discs (both of which have compatibility issues), these discs are longer lasting. Make sure your dvd drive is not worn The biggest problem has been that I have used a burner for too long over the years. Previously, I mistakenly believed that my discs were bad when in fact it was my drive that was getting old and not burning properly. Lasers in DVD drives weaken over time, and I find that laser strength is as important to producing quality discs as the disc itself. It has always seemed to me that DVD+R is better than DVD There are those who argue that there is no difference, although there are those that claim there is. PlusR has more error correction that I have observed and has less problems based on my experience. Don't buy the 8x Datalife Plus ones, but the branded It is manufactured in China at a lesser facility, and Verbatim has a more distinguished history when it comes to 16x media. Other than the Taiyo Yuden discs from Japan, the only discs competing with these were those made by Taiyo Yuden. Verbatim is now the only firm in competition with them since that factory has been closed.
I ordered it on May 2019. BEWARE OF THIS ITEM. YOU SHOULD BE AWARENESS. There is no way to work with these! I tried to put pictures on them I tried to put music on them I wanted to put home videos of (graduation friends) on them. It says unable to write even when I put in a CD that is able to write and readable. There is a problem with this "DVD-" drive A SLIDE DOOR POPS OPEN WHEN YOU OPEN THE R" INSIDE! I don't think it's worth it. It's going to be more difficult now that I have to go somewhere else and spend more money for ones that really work and four which say they do and actually do show I have Windows The manufacturer will not ask for a replacement or a return*however, there is a warning to all buyers DO NOT BUY, SAVE MONEY AND VULNERABLETIME/ "Your pictures/ videos/ music. Before purchasing, make sure you read reviews!.
I just bought them again and they are all If I burn the entire disc, I very rarely have to troubleshoot the verification process because it either fails right away or fails after I get it going. Have things gotten worse on the quality front? I have used a + or a Regardless of which is cheaper, the DVD+R takes a real hit in terms of quality in The bad news kept coming one after another. It is my hope that verbatim will not be the future. My order for a 100-piece set was just delivered My hope is that R, which I have ordered 37 times before, has not gone the same way. As a result of the sale of Verbatim, the discs are now worthless. There's nothing worse than buying a 100 and having to stick them in over and over and over again getting burnt.
If I purchased counterfeit goods, I wonder if that was my purchase. My experience with Verbatim has been that it has been almost untouchable when it comes Other than Taiyo Yuden, I can't think of any other media manufacturer that I have the same confidence in. I've had a lot of problems with these discs. There is less than a half way mark in the spindle in my VHS My project involves ripping 40 discs, but out of those 40 discs, I've had problems copying the files from three. Three of the three failed to read in three different drives, and I had to re-read the one that didn't The tape needs to be ripped. The lens I used is a 50mm I was able to run TDK discs in the same process without an Verbatim might have sent me a bad batch of discs I strongly suspect I received counterfeit discs, but it's possible that I just got my first "bad batch" as a result of the counterfeit discs. If I were able to, I would give these less than one star. It is the worst feeling in the world to believe that you have a copy of something and later find out it is a fake.
The most recent box of 100 I purchased has not performed well in terms of coasters, and yes, I have been burning the tapes at a slower speed. Many discs have also been found to have a rough / un-smooth surface There is a smooth texture to the edges that I have never seen before in CD-R A manufacturing issue would certainly explain the problem, Rs. Fortunately, since the purpose of these was only to back up my records, I didn't spend a lot of time with them right away and my "return" window closed just as I discovered how clumsy There has been a report that Verbatim was purchased by CMC Magnetics, who will no doubt keep the Verbatim standard If you're still keen on using reliable discs to back up your data, I guess Taiyo Yuden is the way to go.
This is what I bought in 2015 - three batches One came from Microcenter in early 2015, one came from Microcenter in late 2015, and one came from Amazon in late 2015. The three batches of CDs burned with severe errors according to Nero CD-writing software You can speed up your DVD player. Despite burning at 16X I didn't even feel warm There were still a lot of PIF errors at 12X and 8X burning. In addition, I burned one of the few Verbatim DVD+R discs I still have from 2011, and it burned almost flawlessly. There have been several improvements to Verbatim DVD media, but they have been noticed to be of poor quality. Having to try Taiyo Yuden for the first time, I found their burn quality to be excellent, despite the fact that they cost a bit more. However, it is important to be aware that Taiyo Yuden is about to relocate its production.
