Will they assist in the burning of Xbox games?

I doubt it, given that I can't even watch burned movies on my xBox.

Is a double layer the same as a two-sided layer?

I used a Memorex 8 to record this. The double layer is entirely on the lower side of this 5 GB 8 X Double Layer DVD R disc. There is no recording capacity on the disc's top side (where the label appears).

I use a lot of blank DVDs, so this was a great deal for me. I have a program called DVDFab that can copy any DVD (including BlueRay - see below). Because I don't have a BlueRay burner, I haven't tried it yet. ) When I go to a RedBox machine, I'll pick up several movies I might want to watch, copy them all, and return them the next day for about the $1 rental fee. br>br>When I go to a RedBox machine, I'll pick up several movies I might want to watch, copy them all, and return them the next day for about the $1 rental fee. the cost of a blank DVD (or DVDs) Standard 4 is always available at a discount. I simply start over with a new blank. I do not, however, discard the DVD that was pulled and had the error. I clean it up and reattach it to a different spindle. Later, I used it. I've had a 100% success rate doing this for a long time. The 8. The 5GB version is much more sensitive than the standard version.

DVD R DL discs that aren't bad
4/5

They carry out their duties effectively. I kind of wish they sold packs with 25 single layer discs and the other 25 double layer discs because I spend half of my time burning Linux distributions. I've been using the rest for movie backups, especially secure distros that I want to run from a LiveCD because I don't trust the lock button on a USB drive as much as I trust a DVD when it comes to its inability to be written to on the fly while running an OS at least. br>br> I'm not sure what model it was. I'm guessing it's around 108 or 110 degrees. I'm not sure if the media is to blame for the burn errors every time. There are simply too many variables to consider. I'd give them a five-star rating if they only did two things. In OS/X, I was able to burn 4x using both my Pioneer DVR burner and my Memorex USB external DVD burner. If those two drives aren't capable of 8X, I'm not sure which one is. I don't recall the price, but it was reasonable, or I would not have purchased them.

I've burned hundreds of Memorex DVDs without a hitch! Yes - I've burned thousands of Memorex dual layer and single layer DVDs with less than 1% of them turning into coasters
5/5

I think Memorex makes a good product, and the DVD backups I burned over three years ago are still working perfectly. I used to struggle with coasters until I finally did the research to find the right programs and the right DVD drive to make good copies. br>br>Here's how I set it up: br>CloneDVD (look it up on the internet and download the free trial version - then buy it once you've fallen in love with how simple it is to use)br>Windows XP 7 out of 32 64-bit)br>br>The following is crucial: While you're burning DVDs, don't try to multitask. It makes no difference to me if your computer has 80 processor cores, 64GB of RAM, and runs Windows 9 with four video cards. If you don't want your DVDs to become coasters, don't run any other programs while you're burning them. You can kiss your copy goodbye if you run a program and your computer chokes for a second while attempting to do something, interrupting the flow of data being written to the DVD. Simply press copy and leave it alone for 5 to 20 minutes until it's completed. Now that I've taken this one precaution, I'm not having any problems. br>br>I usually burn ISO images, but I've had success with native DVD movie file formats (VOB, etc. ) as well. If at all possible, avoid using Windows Explorer to write data to DVDs. You'll almost certainly fry a few, and using the DVD in a portable DVD player will almost certainly cause compatibility issues. Because of all the coasters I've made with Windows, I don't have much faith in it. br>br>I hope this review proves useful to those of you who are attempting to burn your first DVDs - instead of squandering your hard-earned cash on coasters Please disregard all of the nonsense 1- People who haven't done their homework on how to properly burn a DVD have given it five stars!.
