It was a huge relief to discover the exact same item on Amazon for the same price (plus free shipping). I'm not sure if the quality is A, but it's decent (and reliable) (unlike some brands). At the very least, at a reasonable price. Bad disks? It's been a long time since I've had any!.
This was supposed to be a spindle full of brand new DVD Rs. And the scratched ones clearly didn't take a write. br>I've gone through about half of the 100 (about 55), and the top six (top of the spindle) were scratched. The rest has gone smoothly. br>I'm hoping the stack's BOTTON is in good working order. br>br>With that in mind, I spent just over $26 on 94 (hopefully) DVDs, resulting in a total of 27. A DVD costs 7 cents. For DVDs of medium quality, this is about average. br>br>I haven't put them through their paces for a long time. drop-down outs (I have a couple of Philips that are almost two years old that I'll put to the test). 18 July 2015. br>br> I'm past the 33% mark and have run into 8 bad runs in a row of bad runs in a row of bad runs of bad runs of bad runs of When I look at the burn side, I notice that the dye has visible rings in it. It's similar to what you'd get if you'd already burned them. On DVDs with visible rings, they show blank and the Write starts, but it always fails. Once I've reached 100, I'll post my total bad count. br>br>However, it appears that the DVDs' source has changed, as the number on the clear ring has drastically changed. CMC Magnetics Corp was found to be the source of the most recent Philips batch. All of them required a write AND were then verified. br>br>I decided to give Philips another chance, and the spindle of 100 that arrived was in a better box, had come directly from Amazon's warehouse, and was in excellent condition. As a result, I gave the item a five-star rating. 2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014-2014 Update #25: I've now gone through 7 spindles (700 DVDs) and only 1 out of 700 were defective. As a result, I upgraded the STAR rating once more. br>br>2015-2015-2015-2015-2015-2015-2015-2015-2015-2015-2015- Updated on 15 March: Well, I got a very bad set of 100 this time! The top four were visibly damaged right away (apparently something heavy collided with them on the side). Then, further down, about one-third of the inner rings were missing, preventing the burn from finishing. I've used about 20 of the 100 (including the bad ones), so I doubt I'll be able to return the rest. Increasing the price of the remaining good ones.
to capture high-definition television programming They never fail and are always dependable. This shipment was delivered undamaged and on time in a factory-sealed factory wrapper.
I understand that DVDs are becoming obsolete, but we converted home videos to digital format and used DVD as a format to share our memories. They functioned flawlessly and were compatible with all DVD players.
For our church, we go through hundreds of these each year. They perform admirably, and we rarely encounter a disk that is "bad" and refuses to burn. The price is excellent, and the product is excellent. The only drawback is that Amazon fulfills the majority of these orders, and for some reason, they are not well packaged. The plastic container holding the disk was busted three times in a row, and the disk was scattered throughout the box on one of the orders. They still functioned, but "hey Amazon," I said, "I believe you can do better. ".
VID 16X 100- 7GB DATA 120MIN Thank you for making SPINDLE work so well for me. I've learned a lot of new movies.
Although I have yet to use these specific DVDs from this purchase, I have done so in the past and have always been pleased with the results. Excellent product at an excellent price with prompt delivery!.
So far, this DVD spindle has been a huge success for me. My DVD Writer is picky about burning home movie and data-only DVDs; I believe it has more to do with the age of my burner than anything else, as I've seen it burn more coasters from a variety of different brands as the years pass. To date, there have been no problems with this batch of Phillips DVDs, so I'm a satisfied customer!.
