Could this be what I need with the akai 4000DS?

Yes, I agree! Designed for 7" tapes, the Akai 4000DS is a tape deck with a 7" disc. We have long play tapes in 7" MDS 36 size that give you 48 minutes of data at 7". Five minutes per second on the 3 and one hour 36 minutes on the 5. Set the camera to 75 ips. I would also suggest going with the 7" Master Tape version if that would ATR Magnetics, Dustin ATR

Yes, I agree! With my Roberts 990 made by Akai, you can use ATR, and with my TEAC A- with ATR you can use ATR I have the TEAC 3300-6010 and a TEAC 6010 A professional-quality frequency response is provided, and the tape is able to pass over the heads just fine (as well as the adjustable heads from Roberts). The tape is great! The Pioneer RT-41 I just tried has 41 years on it Featuring a deck and a balcony with 707 feet of space I think this is awesome

In addition to being very punchy, the recording was also very clear. This was a flawless job. Based on STD bias and a standard deviation An EQ was applied to the test recording & Resulted in a satisfied customer. Furthermore, I love the tape sticker you added to the package These buttons were a nice little extra swag gift they sent with the package. I will be buying more of them in the future!.

There's nothing wrong with a 40 year old reel to reel and it still plays just fine. It is a pleasure to record and listen while watching the spinning tape while watching the grandchildren.

As a result of the misunderstanding, the company has made a concerted effort to make amends. So, as far as I'm concerned, ALL IS WELL. A dropout in the tape mds36 caused my problem. There is a new tape being used to replace the old one. I am grateful to ATR for providing me with these services.

I love how it sounds

The EICO R to R I restored was built in 1962. I find this tape to be very useful. It seemed odd that the "shiney" side went to the top of the head. There is a reason it works the way it does. As a matter of fact, the matte side used to be facing the heads in the “old days”. How did you find out?.
