You can now easily fit more recordings on a reel with the use of a 1 mil tape since you now need 3600' of tape, that's an additional 1100'

There is no doubt that ATR 1/4" tape comes on one If one wants to use it, one must have a take-up reel on the reel to reel tape recorder deck and the appropriate reel hub adaptors in order to do so. We have reels that are 5 " in diameter. An a-to-z guide to the Revox There is a 1/4" tape and 10 pt tape available for 77. The reels must be 5" in diameter (or 7" in diameter).

It's cool to watch the Red Reels Whether you want 5 or 15 ips, choose one of the following options Do not stretch (make sure your deck is mechanically calibrated - the tension of the wheel and the brakes The Ohaus spring scales are available on Amazon for a good price, and they help you set the pinch roller tension & other settings. There is tension in the brakes. Furthermore, setting the record bias correctly for this tape formula and thickness will result in a GREAT recording that has excellent channel separation and no bleed through when recording four tracks Record and reproduce on an Otari 2T with a 4T only - I use a 4T only. As a result, every recording I make is only two channel, two directions. The number 7 seems to be the best choice. For most recordings, the extended bass response occurs at 5" ips (20 Hz) and the same high end as at 15 ips (22K Hz). At 15 ips, the extended bass response occurs at 30 Hz.

I am absolutely blown away by the quality of the sound

In the years since I started using open reel tapes, I have used quite a few. I am a regular reel to reel owner, and I have to say that all tapes do not sound alike. On my machine I have to say that these tapes deliver the goods (both I have not had any issues with tape shed, or tape squeaks while transporting them. The coating on them is a bit strong and that was a concern at first, but it dissipates in a few days, and I have had no issues. The whole picture is clearly depicted, with no dull spots or drop-outs. There's something about these tapes that I really enjoy. It is to your benefit if you like recording to pay attention to these.

Over the years, I have used a wide variety of tapes. My experience with ATR reel to reel tape is the finest I have ever had and you can get it This product is manufactured in the United States. In my opinion, I prefer the 3600' tape to the 2500' 1/4" tape due to the way my Pioneer RT-2000 handles it Clearly, 909 is a good handler and behaves well. It would also be nice if the recording time was longer. Your wallet will thank you for choosing this brand!.
