The specs of your reel will give you an idea of its quality. The reel deck will state the playback or recording speed in inches per second (my TEAC has two speeds, one double the other, so I always record at the highest speed to achieve the highest quality recording). As soon as you know your deck's speed, it is just a matter of calculating it. Regardless of how I set it, I always make sure I'm running at The number 5 or the number At 75 inches per second, you are moving. During those times when I want to sit down, turn on my Revox and actually listen to music (rather than having it as background music while I engage in other primary activities), I have 14 reels of this tape I have used to record albums at high speed. The sticky tapes I had become annoying to record and play back, so instead of trying to dry them, I threw them away instead of wasting time and effort on drying There is a lot of quality material on this tape, the reel is very substantial, and the sound is great. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Thank you for pointing out Amazon's 10 if you didn't see them elsewhere. There is a 5 inch reel tape available. Although it is costly, it is worth the money It is worth the investment because the audio is on the high end.
It was time to replace the tape on my beautiful Technics RS-I I tried to buy it for 1500 and failed. There was a second set of photos. These reels of tape come on nice solid aluminum reels with a brushed finish, which is what they're supposed to look like. Do you mean the reels themselves and the way they The stainless steel screws that hold these pieces together are not glued or held together by plastic or welding. The narration is already excellent, and I have not even gotten to the tape yet. Tapes are of professional quality and high definition A chrome alloy with a high density. Whenever you had old cassettes, did you ever notice that the tape wouldn't take too high decibel levels and hissed a bit at the end of it? It is well known that the quality and thickness of the tape contributes to this peak point. If you want to eliminate the chance of feedback from the tape itself, you can alter the input level into your tape deck. you have surely encountered that moment when lyrics or recordings are no longer in line with the decibel chart. When that happens, you have to restart the song immediately or you will end up with some lovely static mixed into the I recorded some of my favorite songs onto the tape at 15" per second when I was using it. I adjusted the decibel level at the beginning of the song to my liking and then began the song. As the next song began, the VU meter reached the red zone and the needles in the VU meter jumped to the end. After thinking that this audio tape was horrible, I rewound the cassette and pressed play again. Despite the VU meter being maxed out the recording was perfect. All of the high and low notes were correct, and I could not notice any differences in the parts where the VU meter had maxed out. If you want the best tape for your recording needs, this is some of the best you can find today and I would not recommend anything else until someone you know has tried it. Who knows what speed you will record at, no matter what it is, your computer, or the tape. The 75" mark If you use this tape at 5" or even 15" per second, the sound will be incredible and be fit for mastering. In a side note, CDs and mp3s are digital files made up of dots and dashes of audio which create a bumpy sine wave. Try ripping your favorite CD to tape to make it analog and I guarantee it will sound better. It is my hope that this review will assist anyone looking for a.
I will update this later. Rather, I would like to focus on how well the reels were constructed. It's a great pleasure to watch these reels. All materials are of the highest quality and the car is built perfectly. A lot of time and money was spent on materials and.
I bought this tape from The Recording Store for the second time. A good tape, but was shipped on a plastic reel instead of a cardboard box as the first tape. Tom from The Recording Store is unaware that some of these tapes were shipped on plastic reels instead of metal ones due to a packaging error. Despite my concerns about the plastic reel, he assured me the Tape Store always ships tape on metal reels, so he agreed to send me a new metal reel in its place. In the event that happens, my rating will be increased from 4 stars to 5. At least for now, we'll give them the benefit of the doubt and call it a 4.
Whether you choose this excellent new tape or Pot Luck used, you have plenty of options. You will need a 10 if you need one. You will need a reel of 5" audio tape for this project. There's a good chance that you will be hard pressed to find newly manufactured tape, as well as the fact that it's a A reasonable amount of overdriving can be done without excessive distortions because of the good saturation characteristics. Due to its newness, it does not have the "sticky shed" problem. In addition, it doesn't appear to have a lot of back-up power sources. This results in corrosion (which after years of storage is a major problem). Lastly, I don't think you'll be disappointed in the sound, since the highs are clear and present, PYRAL is still making this, and it is currently under the PYRAL label.
There's no doubt in my mind that I like it. I anticipated that it would work as The material is of good quality.
This is a real to reel tape of excellent quality.
