After a long break from my audio gear, I decided it was time to restore my two RTR decks (GX-1000C and GX-1000M) After cleaning off both of my '635D' and 'R8' decks, I was next confronted by NOS Ampex and Quantegy tapes, which were now clinging to each other. As I searched the Internet for ATR Magnetics, I found them. Reviews said it was a great company, so I decided to give it a try. As well as their 10" tape, I have picked up a few reels of their 7" tape. There are two tapes, MDS36 and Master Tapes. I am very pleased with all of their performance. Their faithful reproduction of the recorded audio, with the usual tape tonal highlights, is highly impressive. There is no doubt in my mind. ATR Magnetics will be my vendor of choice for future reel purchases. Their products are very good and I highly recommend them.

Tape conformed to the description. I am very pleased with the packaging! In addition to the little bonus gift, I appreciate the box's thoughtfulness. I am eager to get back into vintage audio reel to reel machines and since the machine I bought was calibrated with ATR Master tape, I will purchase a few more tape reels and see if you can help me with any other requests. haven't tried the machine yet because I am waiting for the delivery and I am still waiting for the machine. As far as I can tell, nothing has disappointed me so far. I will comment when I am able to. I have updated the blog for the 8th of June 2021. My favorite thing about this tape is its quality. It is a 100% recommendation.

I like this tape a lot! There is no silver hub in your package

The tape is amazing. This is what I use on my Pioneer RT-23 I've just listened to 909 of your awesome Youtube recordings. There is just one star missing for an advertisement that is misleading. I was told a silver reel would be delivered, not a blue reel. Blue is what you get. I just thought you should know.
