It is agreed. It would be great to use these as breadboard terminals, but I don't want to spend time cutting off the ends just to crimp them on.

This is the perfect remedy for fixing toddler toys that have a problem with the sound or speaker. My daughter's toy computer was faulty after the screen started working but the computer would not work. As I took it apart, I discovered it had a blown speaker. Compared the size of these to the blown speaker, and they were close enough In case it won't fit, you can probably enlarge the spot a little bit with a dremel and then hot glue gun the speaker in place after soldering its It saved me from having to throw away the entire assembly by screwing one of these in and screwing everything back together. I like that!.
This was not effective for me, and I discarded it. I was unable to use them because of the low output level. The speakers were driven by a 300 me speaker/headphone amplifier chip from TI, so there should have been enough power to make an auditable impact, but I had to lean over to put my ear close to it to hear them. The thing I find offensive is that. It probably only needs one or two watts to have any effect.
In order to replace a damaged speaker in a toy, we utilized this item. This item fit perfectly into the space due to its dimensions being just right. In order to reconnect the wires, I removed the connector and soldered them. Wires on the device, however, were strong. It was a joy to have his toy back to normal after it had been restored to a good sound level.
I'd give it a very high rating With no noticeable distortion, it handles 1W.
The Radar detector, in the place of Escort IX radar detector, performed well. It is loud enough to hear the speaker. The Escort speaker has a smaller connector than those that came with this speaker, so I had to replace the old one. I now have nine remaining from this list. What should I do with them?.
Is well-suited to the job. For a little side project, I connected them to a mosfet and an Arduino and played some tones.
It was disappointing. The speakers were half the size and half the volume of a 1/2 W speaker of the same size when driven through the same source (I tested a replacement speaker). This speaker is MUCH louder than both the 1/2 W and this 1W one. I scavenged an old 4" paper cone speaker from an old radio that I rescued and it was MUCH louder. Those things are cheap, and they are worth considerably less than what you paid.
My one speaker did the trick, and I have a few spares in case it happens on another dress.
