It fitted perfectly and it was easy to install. It just takes a little bit of time and reading the instructions. You will hear a significant improvement in the sound quality of your Cerwin Vegas! It was so much fun that I did my 40+ year old Vegas with them. It still pisses off my neighbors back then and there, so much so that I run into my local police officers a couple of times a year! I had the time of my life! Thanks for having me!.
The purpose of the purchase is to restore some Advent speakers that I recently purchased. When you are not an expert, you could get a lot of era on these sorts of things. The product, however, works for me because I followed the simple instructions provided by the seller, which is getting your initial measurements right. Once the installation is complete, following the instructions included, the program suggests which tools are most commonly used. I was blown away by how simple the install was! A great deal of adhesion was present in the glue. From my point of view, they get 5 stars all the way around. The next time I restore, I'll be sure to order from you again.
In the end, my 30 year old Cerwin Vegas were headed to the landfill, through who knew it could actually be repaired? There are no limitations to these kits, everything you need to do the job is included, the instructions are detailed and the video is informative. When I got into it, I had a question, and tech support responded to me the next day. Having said that, it is true that you won't be able to do this quickly if you expect a good result, but that has nothing to do with the product. So if my speakers last another 30 years, they will outlast That's the end of the problem. My negative opinion of the company is non-existent, and I would refer them to anyone who was in the same position as me.
This is better than having to replace or throw away the speakers. Currently, I'm 25 years old living in an AT-equipped apartment The speaker foam from these 8s had begun to rot over time, and I didn't want to throw them away just because the speakers were old. The other stuff on the speaker is still useful to me, and the sentimental items have some value to me as well. While the repair takes a little time on account of waiting for the glue to dry, there is not much more to it. If you want to clean old glue, using rubbing alcohol and a sharp knife or blade is highly recommended. Because you're probably not going to be able to remove all of the old glue with the knife, the alcohol will help break down the glue. As you are listening to it on a paper speaker, you must take care not to overdo Despite my best efforts, I couldn't get the entire old glue off, but did the best I could, and the new glue and foam seem to be holding up nicely. My speakers seem like new again, so I don't need to spend several hundred dollars for a new set.
It came in two sets, one for 10's and one for 8's. It was a disappointment to receive both sets so quickly. A pink surround surrounds the vase. What does foam feel like? It feels more like rubber. I don't feel like foam I feel like a solid. The most important thing to remember is that your Cerwin Vega has to be a deep dark green. The advice I give is not good.
I was satisfied with the results. Finally, I can listen to music on my old speakers of more than 30 years. The product was easy to use. Thank you so much for it. There was only one problem, which was the speed with which the glue set up. The glue set up very quickly, so there wasn't much time to center the foam. When placed onto the speaker, the foam ring was basically centered once placed. After five minutes, it became immovable.
Also, spreading the glue with your finger is fine, but the glue is very difficult to clean off, so wearing gloves is suggested.
Approximately 15 minutes were spent in a car and then about 15 minutes were spent at home in a cabinet made out of oak. In the end, I decided to replace the foam, rather than buy new speakers. There are no speakers that could fit the cabinet without some modification, so I had to modify. These sponges looked like they might be expensive, so I gave them a try. My surprise was in finding that the foam was original Cerwin Vega product with the Cerwin Vega logo and part number on the back. The color of the foam is also correct. The kit includes glue (old instructions, and it took me approximately It looks like the work is going well now It's brand new again and I keep the cloth cover off for a while to display the red rimmed CVs.
