Questions & Answers

In the box was just one power supply, and I received the box just now. The other unit is supposed to be connected in what way? Is it possible to have someone explain it to me?

With this device, you cannot need to power the receiver or transmitter since it supports Power Over Cable. The device will work as soon as power is applied to one of them.

What if the hdmi output of the camera is connected to the hdmi input of the video switcher?

I believe that should work if it's 1080p you want. The cable I found to be the best works with Cat7.

Is this compatible with audio files?

LPCM, Dolby Digital DTS 5 and LPCM are available in the non-4k version. There is a 1 and a 2 The X and DTS versions The Dolby Digital +, TrueHD, and DTS lines The HD Master and Atmos formats. I do not own the 4k version, but I would think the results would be the same.

Upon power on, I am not getting any lights on the Ethernet jacks, and no video is coming out, but there is a blinking blue light inside the recovery ?

The front screen is supposed to have a white light and the yellow Ethernet light is supposed to blink and the green light is supposed to stay on. It takes at least two to four minutes to establish the connection. It might be defective.

A great product that does exactly what it is meant to do
5/5

Corporate parties are the reason I do a lot of videos and slideshows. It has a range of up to 392 feet, but there is a slight delay when moving the mouse. I have four other products by a different manufacturer that are also advertised to have a range of up to 392 feet. This was not a big issue since most clients are looking for mainly videos and slideshows. In the past week, a video we showed at a corporate event had a delay in the That is the first time I have ever encountered that issue and had to slow down the sound by 200ms using a video mixer. In the event that I did not have access to a video mixer for an event, I decided it was time to work on a solution. During my tests at the site, I placed the script at several locations and adjusted the settings. I've tried the device with a 50 foot cable, 100 foot cable, and 200 foot cable, and it works perfect each time. I moved the mouse cursor on my laptop and the one on the screen in perfect sync. There was no delay at all. An event coming up just prompted me to order a second one. It is likely that I will order two more to replace the two I have currently. I really like this product! One 100 foot cable from Monoprice did not work on my other devices, but it worked on my other Cables purchased from Monoprice are covered by a lifetime warranty. We are on the way to getting a replacement. All of my Monoprice cables, as well as two 200 foot cables from cables direct online, work without any problems.

The Canon C200 may use all modes, but it works best at 1920 x 1080p 8bit A video project I have coming up requires that I transmit the video from a Canon C200 to a remote audience watching outside of the building
3/5

I got these extenders for that purpose. In spite of the marketing material indicating otherwise, these extenders do not work with all HDMI formats.

I am unable to view signals when the camera is set to output HDMI in 4K or when it outputs 1080P in 10 bit To get 1080P 8bit 4 out of the camera, I had to change its configuration. The system would have to reach a point of 0 before it could finally begin to function. There is some good news because I have managed to find a combination of settings that are effective, and I have successfully sent the 1080P signal over STP outdoor burial grade CAT6 cable, 330'.

My older TiVo requires the same CPI for HDMI
5/5

It works perfectly with this adapter. Using cath 6a, there is an over all shield ensuring maximum protection as well as individual foil shielding to provide maximum protection. There was no grounding on the connectors for the cat 6a cable. As I chose the end that powers the tv and gets shut off when not in use, I chose the end with the power supply. Despite the fact that the TV on the second floor is being driven by a TVO in the basement, you cannot tell it. The customer was very happy with the service.

I found this to be very useful This allowed me to extend the monitor of a security camera along a 200 ft run of CAT6 UTP with no problems with the signal or picture quality
5/5

I was pleased that it had both a local monitor and an extension Another advantage was that I could only use one end of the power cable. I think this is an excellent solution and a convenient setup. Orei, thanks for the kind words. For the first time, I purchased your products, but I already know I.

Our gym would benefit from this application
5/5

It was suggested that we install a large video display in our high school gym and while there will be a video server to stream athletic events, we'd like to be able to use the display to show guest speakers. Although wireless HDMI extenders might be an option, we hadn't tested them and were worried about the performance of all the wireless devices in the gym during large gatherings, so we opted for a hardwired solution. We have a Cat6 cable running between the The system allowed us to mount a box on the wall where the presenters could easily connect their HDMI source (and an ethernet connection for Internet access. The same WiFi interference and bandwidth issues exist). It has been an incredible performance Four rounds of testing have been performed We have been using a 75" IFP for 6 hours and have seen no problems and fully expect to proceed with the same results once installation of the large display begins next week.

My problem was not with the HDBaseT HDMI Extender, but with the HDBaseT HDMI to HDMI
5/5

There have been a number of their models that have failed as a result of lightning strikes, but this seems to have been the best for me. XMTR and RCR units had different power sources, and that may have been the cause of the problem. I'm using a router that uses a single Ethernet cable for common ground along with a single power cable, and has worked flawlessly for about This product is the best I've come across in regards to picture and sound quality. In addition to Customer Service, I found them very helpful as well.

The device is of the highest quality and operates Compared to other HDMI receivers and transmitters, this Cat6 one works pretty Pictures are crisp and clear, and the metal cases are well made with small, well-made objects
5/5

A series of HDMI output ports on the transmitter allow you to run a cable to a secondary display device on the transmitter end, which is a really I have been using this product for quite a while, and it is easy to setup.

Installation was easy, and the quality of the image was excellent
5/5

The TV and box have been upgraded to 4K and a new Cat/Ethernet extender is needed It easily fits behind the TV because it is small and fits behind the An advantage of having one power adapter for both units is that it provides power to them both. It can be mounted on a wall. The picture quality has improved greatly since the last adapter was a 1080p model. This is a great price when you consider local electronics companies wanted to charge $500 for the item and install it. This is a highly recommended product.
