That is not the right use for this product The HDMI splitter was designed to take one HDMI source and output it to up to four HDTVs at the same time The following options are available to you if you want surround sound from all 3 devices (and without knowing what type of receiver you have) I'm sorry -- You may limit the HDMI inputs of your Receiver to one or two In order to accommodate all three devices, a "HDMI switch" will be needed. Please note - You cannot use your Receiver if it does not have HDMI inputs *br>Most receivers have no HDMI inputs, so it is recommended to get one with at least three. In the event that you have three or more HDMI inputs on the Receiver It is my hope that

As I just checked the unit, it was not warm at all one would think it was off, but it is not. There were no televisions in the house at the time. It worked fine, and I gave it a

There are no signs of heat buildup on this device. I leave it plugged in all the time. It does so by routing the Yahama output to the projected images on the screen.
Due to its 1 input and 4 outputs, this splitter provides the ability to use recording devices with items like the Playstation 3, which are normally limited by the With the Elgato HD60 S+, you no longer need to turn off HDCP on any console you are playing on, however, if you are using the HD60 S+, then you know you have to turn off HDCP on any console you are playing on. have this with a 25 foot HDMI cable and it works simply fine for me. This splitter can output only one resolution at a time, they do make one that can output up to three, but if you input 1080p you will only get 1080p out of it. The HDMI Switch output worked perfectly for what I needed, which was to output multiple sources from my HDMI switch. As a result of using this splitter, there are no noticeable quality degradations. The 1x4 Splitter I just got is my first splitting device, so I haven't used it for very long, but I've been using the smaller 1x2 splitter for six months now by the same company. This phone has been working perfectly for 8 months without any issues. It has an excellent build quality at an affordable price It feels very solid due to its metal case. I think that it is.
Although this product appeared to be a good product at first. It worked similarly to other splitters that I had acquired in the past. But this splitter required its own power source, a warning that should have prepared me for the disappointment that followed.
Short story is, the product started overheating within three months, and had to almost constantly be switched off to cool down, during which period I was not able to use it. Afterward, any movement of the desk or typing on the keyboard would cause it to disconnect and reconnect the monitor randomly finally, all the HDMI slots would refuse to connect at all. For over a year now, I've had another splitter that I got on clearance for $5 at Walmart for my television, and it's always worked just fine (without any power source). Totally unnecessary, you should find something less expensive.
It is a great little black box that you can use when you need to split a (HMDI) signal to several (TV) units. In four different rooms, we have four monitors. Due to the fact that the output source only had a single connection (HMDI), this splitter fixed the issue of having the video displayed on all four televisions without the need to change connections with the source based on which room was being used. Since all four rooms have been added to the system, we can use all four at the same time without unplugging and plugging in the cables. Originally, we added cables to each room in order to switch when needed. With the splitter, everything is plugged into the same port, so there is no need to swap them out at the source. Our software has been working for more than a week, and we are satisfied.
During the first 4 port model's warranty period, the whole HDMI port card had to be replaced (since it blew) on two of my three Samsung HDMI ports. There are two ports on the splitter that fail. I returned the old 4 port server for a new one. Now, these four port-ers were replaced, but two of them were faulty. The Panasonic model is older, is it better than the Samsung model? This splitter makes the ports and HDMIs explode due to the surge in voltage!.
It allowed me to stream multiple TVs throughout the house from a single feed simultaneously (like a YouTube stream or a game stream). Although the TVs were listed in the sound device options (Win10), I still could not get the sound to play through to just TVs. As a final solution, I plugged in an old computer monitor that had speakers as my fourth HDMI output, as well as selecting that monitor's speakers for the sound output, and now it works just fine. The monitor is right next to my computer, too, so that works better now. Nonetheless, this took quite a bit of work/research to get to the point of being able to hybridize TVs and computer monitors, so hopefully it will be helpful to someone else.
Connecting my TV and projector to my Directv box is made possible by this product. It is possible to prevent unintentional changes to resolution by forcing output to 1080p through the Directv Display menu. The HDMI connection renegotiates every time a display is turned on or off due to the way HDMI works. Once you turn one display on and it's synced to 1080p, turn on the other display. The first display will blank for a few seconds when the other is switched on, and then both of them will communicate properly A part of them must be turned off, and the other must be taken out and resynchronized. Since I have been using it, I have never needed to power this splitter up upon resyncing like I have with other splitters The HDMI source connection can be cycled or disconnected and reconnected. A brief update, dated October 13, 2019, is as follows I still have no issues with it. The display re-synchronizes every time a new entry is made or a previous entry is.
Their size makes them a little larger than some of the competing splitters, but they work great for splitting HDMI outputs to multiple display devices. Defining a computer monitor output to be shared by multiple devices (monitor, video switcher, HDMI extender) was the only issue I had. In the past, I had difficulties getting the computer to recognize the connected device and it was often randomly rebooting that display output (as if no device With EDID, a computer can accurately determine which device is connected and adjust itself As far as I know, this splitter doesn't support Another vendor sold me a splitter that copies the EDID from one of the ports, and it worked just fine. HDCP is supported by this device and works well to distribute HDMI output from a source (such as a DVD player or cable box) to several TVs at the same time.
