Yes, but be cautious because the one I received was broken at the third. Connector for a 5mm jack. If you touch the cable, all sound is lost. Because of the poor quality, I believe these cables are either original or secondhand from China.
The pliable round-end cable is included in the replacement cable. the- The original earbuds simply snap into the left ear section, but not the ear sections. the replacement cable's left and right ends And there you have it: brand new earbuds!
The cable that connects your phone or computer to the internet (3. 5mm) will work, but I'm not sure about the connector to the actual earphone. You could always give it a shot.
There is no microphone in this cable, so please accept my apologies.

It initially appears to work, but small head turns while wearing it reveal that the cable is indeed broken (because the audio cuts out). br>br>The cable is made up of the same metal wire that allows it to bend. However, because of the damaged cables that have been shipped out, you should avoid purchasing these here.
For several years, I've been using Shure headphones (mostly Shure SE215). My first pair of shoes lasted for about five years. Then I got a wireless pair, and after about ten months, that cable broke. After that, I bought a new wireless cable, which broke after six months. Another wireless cable, as well as a regular cable in case the wireless one fails. Both of these things have now failed. Fraying around the linkage near the end of the cable, just before the actual headphone connector, appears to be the issue with the regular cable. A silver wire broke out of it just a few months after I started using the cable (presumably to keep that area more "shapeable" so you can wrap it around your ear). I'm not sure why the quality has deteriorated so drastically; perhaps Shure is using less expensive materials? They used to be such a fantastic organization.
To the other reviewers who stated that this is a carbon copy of the original, I disagree. It isn't the case. At least, not the one I came up with. The cable grade (thickness) has been reduced significantly. I began with a pair of E4Cs that failed three times during their warranty period. The 425s, which had a detachable cable and a formable over-ear pad, were the most recent earphone replacement. I'm not sure how long it took to figure out a "system" for quickly putting these earphones on and off, but the last time the cable failed, it did so at the plug, not at the ear stress points, and it lasted longer than the two-year warranty period (2 years, 8 months). Shure deserves a pat on the back. You've mastered the art of planned obsolescence at long last. br>br>I'm familiar enough with plastics engineering to understand that durability isn't solely determined by thickness. The replacement cable has a lot more flexibility, which I like. It is easier to untangle and feels "more natural" in the hand. I also understand that any cable that is regularly stressed will eventually fail. So, I got a new one a couple of days ago. The timer goes off. I'll let you know whether this replacement is equal to, less than, or superior to the part it replaced in two years and eight months or at the first sign of failure. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is that While I waited for my cable to be replaced, I went for my nightly walks in a pair of cheap open-toed shoes. Sennheiser headphones for the air While the open cans gave me a better sense of my urban surroundings, I missed the clarity and depth of my 425s. So when I go out with the Shures, I turn down the volume and act deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafenedly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deaf Because you are hearing impaired with a pair of noise suppressing buds that knock at least 50% of the ambient volume out of your awareness at least 50% of the ambient volume Keep it icy and safe when you're grooving.
Over the years, I've placed several orders for these. My experience has been similar to that of other reviewers in that they've all broken after a year or so of use—the sound begins to cut out after one or more years, due to wear (or something) around the plug and/or in the over-current protection circuit. the- section of the ears I keep buying replacements not because they're great, but because I know they'll fit and the price (while high) is relatively low compared to the earphones' cost. br>br>However, I feel compelled to write a review in order to highlight a recent (albeit minor) redesign that has made a significant difference for me. I used to have to buy short little adapter-type cables because this cable wouldn't fit my iPhone case. To connect the earphone cable to my phone, I'll need the following items. It was frustrating because all of those adapters would break after a few months of use (I tried about a half-dozen different ones). Shure has removed some of the bulky plastic near the plug in my most recent purchase of this cable, making it thinner and more compatible with my iPhone case! The old and new plugs can be seen next to each other. in the photograph. I'm done with adapters! I suppose they've tweaked the design in other ways as well, and these new ones will last longer as well, but my expectations aren't high.
Every aspect of the product is of the highest possible quality. The headphone cable is excellent. My headphones aren't SHURE, but they do use MMCX, and they're a perfect fit. Here are some of the things I like about these vs. Prior to ordering this, I purchased a cheaper cable.
1. When I accidentally pull on the cable, the connectors keep the earbud in place.
2. The part that goes over the ear keeps its shape well and can adapt to the odd angle at which the MMCX emerges from my earbud.
3. Because of the length, I can be more creative with how I route the cable under my shirt (front pocket, back pocket, left, right, they all work).
4. The cable itself appears to be much more durable AND flexible than the cheaper alternative. br>br>I would strongly advise purchasing this over some of the less expensive alternatives. The level of excellence is outstanding.
