Questions & Answers

The cable that came with the headphones is not as sound quality as the original cable that came with the headphones. ?

As this is the original cable from audio technica, the sound quality and build quality will be identical to the cables that came with it, and it'll work for both the M20x and M20x Pro.

What is the compatibility of this product with AUDIO TECHNICA ATH-150? Does ANC27 exist?

Although it's compatible with the ANC27 (I bought it for that) the cord that comes with it is not the same as the one that came with it. There is a noticeable difference in the quality of this cord over the original one, however the side that connects to the headphones has a very different locking mechanism, and it doesn't lock onto the ANC27, it stays in place though, so it's not a problem.

Are there any headphones with 3 jacks that this cable will work with? Does the female connector fit the 5mm?

Cables with a 2 have been used for this project. A 5mm jack is at the headphone end of the cable.

Can you tell me the cable's diameter?

I am 3 feet tall. The cable is relatively short compared to the other long cable or coiled

IF YOU OWN A M50xBT WIRELESS MODEL, THIS WILL NOT FIT
3/5

This is what I ordered to go with my M50xBT wireless because many users and a seller all told me it would work. Well, it was a 2 pin plug. The 3mm should have been the 5mm. A jack with a diameter of 5mm works for me. There was an actual metal plug that was thinner, but the plastic grip had a larger diameter. I couldn't place it in the deep shallow hole in the casing as it was too large and too thin. Trying a size 7 shoe on a 13 inch foot is like trying a size 7 shoe on a large The Jack is the same that I have in my Sony and Apple devices, but I keep hearing "proprietary. " There are dozens of slim plugs that Amazon offers that satisfy "proprietary" needs, according to the website. As long as you have a slim plug, such as those provided on the Amazon Basics line, they will work. I'd imagine AT would design a plug like Amazon has to fit their M series cordless models, not just the corded ones, like their newer slim holes. Do not rely on the answers of users, do not rely on the names of manufacturers and do not The cord is designed for headphones in the M range. Cordless models are the only ones available. I guess manufacturers aren't so clear about their products. This will fit the wireless model, but I was not able to find any claims to this effect in the reviews. Let me say what I need to say in one sentence. I have a BLUETOOTH ATH-USB HARDWARE CORD that I cannot fit into the Bluetooth ATH-USB HARDWARE CORD BT M50x. It is now your turn to.

A twist lock doesn't warrant the premium price, and its quality falls far short of expectations
3/5

This cable is not of very high quality and you may damage the plug if you don't deal with each end carefully, but it's not big deal. The only issue is that these cables are far too expensive. They are selling twist locks that really only they manufacture. Then probably after that In order to avoid investing in $50 in cables between these and the cables I regularly ruin because AT's twist lock cables' maximum length is useless to my needs, I gave up, opened up my M40x, removed AT's proprietary twist jack, and installed a standard 3. 25. A 5 to 2 ratio. I no longer have to use the 3. 5mm adapter, which is normally priced at $3. In addition, I can get better quality cables than these junky 5mm cables, and I won't have to spend an arm in a leg if they fail.

This is the official product of It is not identical, but it is nearly the same
4/5

My original cable got wonky where the jack connection is located, so I decided to order one. It is truly outrageous that we need to pay $30 for a coiled cable. This seems like it should be around $15-$20. For a quality cable, it will cost you $20. However, there's still a proprietary jack attachment attached to it by Audio Technica. As it turns out, I ordered an AT cable and to my surprise, it came with the AT logo. In other words, I get the impression that the AT in the description refers to compatibility with another product. I figure that it was a 3rd party product claiming its AT The resemblance to the ATH M50x was quite pleasing to me. However, contrary to some other reviews, it is no replacement for the ATH There's a slight difference in the cable's thickness and therefore, the coil is also a little tighter. As you can barely see in the photo, my original cable is on the left, and this cable is In person, the difference is more evident than in the picture, but even without comparing it side by side, I knew it was different once it was With all this said, I have not noticed any noticeable change in the sound quality. For all intents and purposes, the two are the same, but in order to clarify, I wanted to call out the slight difference. My only concern is, will this one wear out faster than my original? I have no idea what impact it will have on long-term durability. In terms of performance, they are on par with expectations.

I would not recommend this
3/5

There is nothing I could do to improve Audio Technica's performance. Can they really make such a great headphone if the cable is so bad? It has a proprietary cord, so you have to buy a replacement when yours breaks at the input end every time. First, the audio jack and speaker on my phone broke due to damage from a broken cable. The tip broke off the next day when I bought a second one. When you look at the break, you can see that the bottom part of the tip was only lightly glued to the tip rather than soldered. *Do you want $20 to wreck your $600 phone?
So, do you want to pay $20 to sabotage your phone? Are you sure? If you don't want to deal with it, then find a knockoff, get an adapter, or say goodbye to an otherwise awesome headphone with an annoying.

Nothing to worry about! In regard to audio replacements, I have a few remarks Can you help me with my Technica headphones? The audio quality appears to be good because there is no crackling noise
5/5

This is genuine Technica, not one of the counterfeits. My young child (also an audiophile) broke the original cable of this length, but with this cable the sound is just as good as it was before. At the time I'm writing this, it's hard for me to remember exactly how much I paid for this, but I believe I wrote something like, "Oh, this is too pricey, maybe close to twenty bucks?". The price is higher than I would have expected to pay for just one replacement cable -- but I need it and haven't found one cheaper anywhere else [though I didn't search very hard]. The only thing I actually have a problem with is that. I love audio - But it's a bit difficult to describe In terms of headphones and microphones, I find that Technica produces quality gear that meets my needs. I have tried more expensive products rarely, but I find that this maker offers quality gear I can depend on. The audio is good, so I'm happy with it You can find their little replacement cable here from Technica. The only pair of inexpensive older headphones I don't use is one pair of relatively cheap, earlier issued headphones, preferring the Sony counterpart when I need that type of headphone.

There are breaks in the chords due to poor quality chords
3/5

The headphones are great, but the cords don't last very long. I broke the original one in a few years and the replacement was even worse and it fell apart in a few You insert the pin into the headphone jack, and the tip breaks off. You can find multiple reviews that state this has happened if you search "tip" within the reviews, which means that there has been a quality control issue with some parts of the It might have just been a case of pure bad luck.

It does not work on Bluetooth models
4/5

There are no issues with this cable. Due to the fact that it does not fit the Audio Technica M50x BT (bluetooth) model, and that the item was poorly advertised, I have knocked one star off this product. The only reason the three were not made is that there is no reason why they couldn't have made some The cable fits a 5mm hole. As a matter of My feedback on the normal m50x is the same as the others. The plastic part of Audio Technica's connector is messed with in order to prevent 99% of cables from working, so why should I be forced to pay vastly over the odds for a limited set of cables?.
