This is a CTIA standard, and yes, it is a TRS-to-TRRS connection.
It can be used with any microphone and headphones. Fifine Podcast Microphone USB with Headphone Monitoring 3 is the mic I use. 5mm Jack and Pluggable USB Connectivity Cable for Computer, PC, Mac/Windows, Recording Voice Over, Streaming Twitch/Gaming/YouTube/Discord-K670B and Sony M3 headphone When turning on the mic, use a different power device than the one you'll be using to turn it on. If you're going to connect it to the Xbox One, don't connect it to the Xbox One because you might hear static/buffering. Instead, adjust the volume on the Xbox to avoid hearing static/buffering, and make sure that your Xbox settings are set to headphones and speakers rather than speaker only.

It's not like there's a lot to it. I always find reading/writing reviews on cords amusing, but this one was especially so because I had no idea such a thing existed. br>br>I had an old Razer headset from PC gaming that I tried to use on the PS4, but it didn't work because it had two jacks (one for audio and one for microphone). I searched the internet for a splitter/adapter and there it was, right in front of my eyes. br>br>Works flawlessly right out of the box, with no need for any additional setup in the PS4 menu. It appears to last as long as I require it to and sounds fantastic (albeit through headphones). BAD cords have been a problem for me in the past). br>br>It comes highly recommended to anyone dealing with a similar problem.
Since I've been playing Fortnite on my Xbox, I thought I'd try using my Beats Studio headphones instead of buying a new headphone with a microphone like the Turtle Beach. I had a few lapel mics lying around the house, so I figured I could make something work. As a result, I did some research and discovered that I could accomplish this using an audio splitter. So I bought it, and it's fantastic. I can hear the game audio clearly, and my friends can hear me clearly through the microphone. It's not only cheap, but it also looks nice. This is something I strongly suggest.
This cable can be used to split a phone or computer with a combo mic and headphone port. br>br>I'd like to use my Microsoft Surface Pro to record music. I've done a lot of searching and haven't been able to come up with a satisfactory answer. It took me a long time to figure it out, but I finally did. This cable enables me to use an external microphone while also turning off the built-in microphone in the control panel. Now that I have an external Rode NT1A, I can record high-quality sound and music. By the way, if Windows doesn't detect your external microphone and the microphone setting in the control panel is grayed out, all you have to do is unplug the external microphone and then plug in this slitter cable first, then plug in the external mic to this adapter. br>br>You can simply set windows mapping in recording software like Audacity. br>I hope you find this advice useful.
It does what it says it will. I'm using HyperX Revolver headphones, which have a separate microphone and headphone 3. 5mm, which combined the two functions. Now I can use my PS4 with the headphones.
It has the appearance and feel of high-end materials. Because my gaming laptop only has one audio input jack and my gaming headset only has a speaker input jack and a separate microphone input jack, I decided to buy this. Prior to purchasing this adapter, I could only use the speakers on my headset, not the microphone, which forced me to use the laptop's built-in webcam microphone. This adapter was exactly what I needed to connect my headset's speakers and microphone to my laptop's single audio jack. br>br>The adapter is fantastic. It has a premium look and feel, and the connections are extremely secure, which I appreciate. Neither the speakers nor the microphone have suffered any degradation in sound quality. This is a fantastic product at an even better price!.
Mic 1 (7. 99) to use with my Xbox One controller while connected to my wired headphones. It works perfectly and as expected.
I bought this splitter so that I could use headphones and a microphone on my PS4 controller separately. br>br>I have a set of Monolith M1060 headphones that I'd like to use with the standard PS4 headset's mic. The TRS connector rings on the microphone port are flipped with this splitter - As a result, the microphone ring and the speakers on the PS4 earpiece output to each other. By blowing or tapping on the headset speakers, I was able to get a "mic" signal to go through the earpiece, but the headset microphone does not pick up any signal. br>br>The signal goes out to the headphones (M1060) fine, but there is a hiss and some noise introduced by the splitter that is not present when the controller is plugged in directly (which can drive the headphones fine). br>br>Overall, this product does not perform as I expected or required. br>br>Be cautious of the setup you intend to use with it; many people have reported success using this product and the PS4. I'm not sure if I got a faulty item or if the splitter only works when a dedicated microphone is plugged into the microphone port; however, if the leads were flipped - I believe it will function as intended.
For $5, you can get a 5 mm microphone from Amazon to turn your BEATS (or any other wired headset) into a complete gaming headset. Everything is in order. I connect it to my Xbox controller and play with it. Then I plug in my Beats headphones to the headphone side, while also plugging in this (Neewer 3. ) No, my Beats aren't my gaming headset; they're a 5mm Hands Free Computer Clip on Mini Lapel Microphone (3X Lapel Microphone). That is not at all shabby. That little mic is great, and you can get a three-pack for about $5 on Amazon. Don't waste your money on a crappy one-dimensional gaming headset. br>br>Note: You can use your existing headphones. br>br> I have the newer wireless Beats that come with a wired connection cord. I can hear game audio when I plug it directly into my controller, but the mic will not work at the same time, so I spent about $12 on these two items and am now set.
