I finally found a "dongle" that works with the recently released Samsung Galaxy Note10 series phone after several failed attempts over the last few days. The sound quality is good, and the volume is loud enough for me to continue damaging my hearing while listening to hard rock and metal. It's one of the less expensive options that actually works with the phone, so it's definitely worth buying.
This doesn't happen until the plug is plugged in, which causes my phone to act strangely.
So far, this is a nice little cord with a good quality look and feel that works well with the Galaxy Note 10 Plus!.
Simply plug it in and go. I have a pair of old Sony over-the-ear headphones that are wired. With the adapter, the sound was incredible and of exceptional quality. There is no static at all. Both the phone and the headphones have solid clicks. I bought another one right away because the product was so good. I couldn't ask for anything more for the money and it works out of the box.
If the headphones are fully inserted, they will not work. My previous phone's headphones worked fine, but with this adapter, you have to pull them out a little to get them to work.
Fast delivery and a great look. My new Note didn't come with a headphone jack, which was a disappointment.
For less than $10, this is without a doubt one of the best pieces of technology I've ever purchased! I bought it with the intention of using my phone as a camera while connecting my lapel mic to it. I figured it was only a couple of dollars if it didn't work out. To my surprise and delight, it works perfectly and records in stereo from my microphone! Of course, it works great with headphones as well; I just tried it out. But I bought it primarily to use with my microphone, and I'm very pleased with it! If I had to, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Such a fantastic and versatile little adapter for such a low price! Definitely a five-star product!.
Okay, here's why I don't recommend purchasing. It does work, but the sound is only average, and the build quality is poor; there are hairline fractures on the housing, or bad molding, I'm not sure. There was a white powder all over it in the package, as well as fingerprints on the gold parts, and the cord had glue or something on it. All of this is acceptable to me. However, I can't live with the fact that it caused my Galaxy S10 Lite to go crazy every time I plugged it in. I'm pretty sure I'll send it back. Note that I attempted to take a photo, but the issues were not visible.
