Is 1 a valid number? Does the end of the conduit need to be tapered for 1-inch conduit to act as a mast?

The 1 1/4" emt conduit was also a bit big to fit in my case.

What is the possibility of this working on some ham radios with a 2 meter band?

My own has yet to be set up, but it says it will be in a few hours. This antenna has a frequency range of 25-100 GHz A frequency of 1300 MHz is used. The 2 meter band operates between 144 and 148 MHz A frequency of 148 MHz is used.

The antenna has a wide range and can be used for many things
5/5

I find this intriguing. It looks like a comet antenna made out of stainless steel rod, like it was an artist's interpretation. While it is easy to put together, you will have to spend a little time tightening the lock nuts. With little weight or wind resistance, the antenna can be installed with TV mounting A receiving antenna covering a very wide range of frequencies, it is primarily intended for receiving. However, it resonates in the 2-octave range A meter and a 70-meter I have tested it on the 15 cm ham band and it works quite well. According to its advertisement, the antenna can be used for Each radial can be adjusted to tune it either to a higher or a lower channel. It was my goal to make them as short as possible, hoping to achieve some 10-word elements There is coverage of the meters. Here are the two The SWR points turned out to be There are six The frequency of 1 is 7 MHz The number 1 was in the middle of that range and well inside the 10-point range I was worried that it would not fit well on the meter band, but it seems to offer more versatility than I In addition to its impressive performance, the antenna is also very cheap in comparison to others of its kind.

If you use a scanner, the 1410 (one spot below) is the better choice
5/5

So, I compared this to the lower priced ($8 cheaper) TRAM 1410 antenna, and blindly decided to go to a higher level. Ultimately, I found out the 1410 I needed was the exact one I was looking for, and the long top element with loading coil, as well as the tuneable radials, were only for transmitting in the CB band. This feature is not needed for my listening because I only listen to scanners and SDRs. I am considering sawing off the center loading coil so I can make it a simple discone like the TRAM 1410. I believe the extra baggage hampers my VHF/UHF reception, so I am actively contemplating this. took the coil cover off and could easily clip off the coil, but it would be hard to keep the coil weatherproof without removing the coil form. My plan is to simply clip the coil and screw the top on again. IF you just wish to have a wide-band scanner RX antenna, you should not purchase this model.

During the ride, the tram makes two turns
5/5

This is the one you want, isn't it? That very well could be true! During the tram ride, two discones will be produced. What do you think about these two pictures? One has a whip, and two longer radials the other has no whip and smaller radials. What do you think about this one? I have both, as you can see in the photos. I keep the one with the whip on one side of my house to the left of my HF vertical, and I use it for my 2m/440 HT, while the one without a whip on the opposite side of the house is used as a The fact that there are two of them on opposite sides of the house is strange. My 2m antenna, with the whip, would be detuned by this model, so I had to choose the model without the Sometimes I have to repeat signals on my two radios or transmit on two close frequencies at once. A whip on a discone provides much better SWR compared to no whip, which is why I use the one with a whip for transmitting and the one without a whip for scanning. Therefore, that's what I have to say. These two antennas are both well suited to their own uses.

Let's start with a first impression and a review
4/5

I opened up the box as soon as I received it this afternoon. It was found that all the parts were intact and in working order. You must be extremely cautious not to discard any of the hex values There is a packaging for nuts. As a result of vibrations during transit, three had become loose and were enclosed in plastic bags but without attachments. That's just something to keep in mind. This looks like a very straightforward assembly as it requires only screws to put it all There is a limited amount of graphics in this set of instructions, which is a plus. Basically, the only issue I have is that the base assembly is not tightened up completely, and there is some wiggle. Only about 1/8" of rotation is available, so I believe it should be relatively My hope is that it won't introduce any interference to the received signal. Since I have no idea how to get it tight, I'll have to make due. This is something I hope will receive, and if it does then the money spent was well spent. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Having a good antenna would be ideal
5/5

It was for my Ham Shack that I purchased it after Christmas so that I could install a scanner (a Christmas present). It was also important to me to be able to use it with an old CB I have had for many years yet not used because the antenna had broken. Due to its capability of receiving and transmitting both HF frequencies as well as VHF and UHF frequencies, I chose to use this antenna. My antenna switch allows me to switch between my CB transmitter, my Uniden scanner, and my RTL-SDR receiver easily Receivers that use the SDR Panadapter. Worked perfectly the first time. My only issue was that there was an extra part missing when I received the shipment, but I was able to exchange it through Amazon's return program right away. On the weekend I was able to place the new one on the carport room after receiving it in a week. Due to the fact that the CB is not illegally tuned up, the antenna is capable of handling transmission wattages of 4 watts am and 12 watts ssb. The metal roof of the carport that my antenna is attached to is interfering with the reception of my scanner within a range of 2 meters. I must, however, raise the antenna higher. I still need a longer mounting mast to fix this. That's not the antenna's problem, it's my mounting.

This is the best antenna you will ever buy for $50! All the lame bad reviews can be ignored
5/5

A storm broke it, it is not in any instructions, what size mast is it meant to fit on, etc. Use the receiver attached to this to sweep the radio spectrum you will be amazed at how well it works. For receiver antennas, this is one of the gems of radios. The bands are amazingly wide. Discone antennas are not intended to transmit data which is what a TX antenna is for. If you are looking for a TX antenna it will perform on UHF and VHF. The problem with people who have unrealistic expectations of a product and write a bad review is that when they don't come true, they are disappointed. If I could, I would give it 6 stars because I don't think it's a bad product because of your lack of knowledge.

There is only a distance of 2 meters and 70 cm
3/5

The sWR I can receive and transmit has to be 4 to 10 unless I want to transmit you on 2 meter and 70 cm. In the instructions, it is stated that the 11th meter is the only variable, while all others are not. As a scanner antenna or as a scanner antenna on 2 meters/70cm, it works well.

This is a very good value that is likely to last for a very long time
4/5

The kit, consisting of stainless steel parts, is easy to assemble. In the writing of this article, I have tested it in the 50 to 700 range As far as I can tell, it functions correctly at 220 MHz. The only downside is the lack of a sensitivity dial As per the ISO standard There is no notching on the 239 connector for engaging the anti-vibration features This rotation feature is unique to mating PL-PL systems There are two 259 connectors. To fix this issue, you will have to file away the nubs on the mating connector for a more secure As an omni-channel solution, it also serves well as a multi-channel solution An FM broadcast antenna that is directional.
