One 1/4" emt conduit was just a little too big for my device.

This would work on a 2 meter ham radio, wouldn't it?

As of now, my account is not up, but it says it will be within a few hours. The frequency range of the antenna is 25 to 60 GHz There is a 13 MHz band in the band. On 2 meter band, frequencies range from 144 to 152 MHz A frequency of 148 MHz is used.

A multipurpose antenna with a really wide range
5/5

I find this to be of interest- A fitting antenna that uses stainless steel rods for the antenna, with an artist's rendition of a comet. There is little weight or wind resistance in this TV antenna, so it can be put up using TV antenna hardware. It is easy to assemble, but you will need to tighten a lot of lock nuts. An antenna for receiving a very wide range of frequencies, this device is primarily intended as a receiving antenna. The two sides of the equation, however, are resonant A meter and a 70-meter There are ham bands on the 40-cm band, and the signal appears to be quite good According to the advertisement, the antenna works A total of two of the radials can be adjusted to tune it to a higher or lower channel. In attempting to make those elements as short as possible, I hoped for some 10-second elements This is the area covered by meters. These are the two 27 points were determined to be 1 SWR point. In addition to 6 and 28, there are 1 MHz with 7 MHz I would put it around the middle of that range, well inside the 10s I am surprised by how versatile this plan is. It seems a bit small to be used there, but it promises greater versatility than I Due to its low price, the antenna is incredibly impressive when compared to others of the same type.

Those who are scanning with the 1410 (one step below) get a better deal
5/5

As a result, I blindly made the decision to go one step higher when comparing this device to the lower priced ($8. 00) TRAM 1410. A 1410 turned out to be just what I needed, and the long top coil with loading coil, as well as the tunable radials, were intended only for transmitting over CB. Due to the fact that I only listen to the radio via a scanner or SDR, I did not require I am seriously considering removing the coil from the center and making it a simple discone like the TRAM 1410. I don't think the extra baggage is helping my VHF/UHF reception, so I am actively considering sawing it off. If I were to remove the coil cover, I would easily be able to clip off the coil, but it's a bit harder to keep the coil form My plan is to screw the top back on and clip the coil. Definitely do not buy this model if you just want to use it as a.

Two discones are made by the tram
5/5

Would this be the right one for you? That very well could be the case! Two discones are made by the tram. In one you get a whip and two longer radials, and in the other you don't get a whip and the radials are all the same size. Do you choose the latter? I have both, as you can see from the photos. I have one antenna with a whip on one side of my house, next to my HF vertical, and I use it for my 2m/440 HT the other with no whip is on an offset mast under my whip on 2m/440, and it is used to scan. There are two of them on opposite sides of the house. Why is that? Because I had to select the one without a whip, I chose this one without a whip since it would detune my 2m antenna. A whip on a discone is much better than one without a whip, which is why I only use the one with a whip for transmitting, and the one without a whip for scanning when I need to use my radios as repeaters or transmit on two close frequencies at once. That is all I have to say about that. There are two fine antennas, each with its own purpose.

I just want to write a short review or first The package was delivered to me today and I opened it right away
4/5

There were no missing parts and everything was in good working order. If you discard parts of the hex-values, be sure not to remove all of them There is a package of nuts in the box. While in the plastic bags, three of them came loose during transport and were without anything attached to them. It's just something you have to be aware of. Since everything is screwed together, it looks like it would be fairly straightforward to assemble. There are very few graphics in the instructions, but they are easy to read. As far as I can tell, the only thing that concerns me is that the base assembly is not completely tightened up. I would estimate there to be about an eighth of an inch of rotation available. The signals should not be affected by the noise. So I'll have to live with it since I cannot discern how to get it tight. That would be worth the money if it received, and if it did, then it was worth it. It will all depend on what happens.

It's good to have a good antenna
5/5

This antenna was purchased after Christmas so that I could install a scanner in my Ham Shack (Christmas present). It would be great to be able to use it with a CB I have had for years but am unused due to the fact that I do not have an antenna attached. In choosing this particular antenna, I chose it because it can act as both a receiver and transmitter for the HF frequencies (CB) and the It is possible to select between my CB and Uniden scanners and RTL scanner with the help of an antenna switch Receiver with an SDR panadapter. I've got no problems with it. I only had one issue when I received the order the item I received was missing a part. This was quickly addressed by exchanging it through Amazon's Over the weekend, I had it up on the carport room once I received the replacement within a week. In light of the fact that the CB is stock and has not been unlawfully tuned, the antenna easily handles the 4 watts AM and 12 watts SMB transmission. must however raise the antenna since the metal roof of the carport is interfering with reception from my scanner within a range of 2 meters because it is mounted on the metal roof of the carport. That's not a problem with the antenna, it's with my mounting. I need a longer mast to attach the antenna.

A $50 antenna is the best $50 you will ever spend! All those lame bad reviews are a waste of time
5/5

Considering the fact that it was broken in a violent storm and what size mast it will fit on, there are no instructions provided. You will be amazed at how well it works when you connect it to an SDR receiver and sweep the radio spectrum! A hidden gem among radios when it comes to receive antennas. It is amazing how wide its bands are. It doesn't appear to cause any problems with UHF or VHF performance if you are looking for a TX antenna, but transmitting is not what the discone antenna is Whenever someone has unrealistic expectations of a product and writes a negative review when they do not come true, there is a problem in my opinion. Even though you may lack knowledge about it, the product itself is still excellent. If I could, I would rate it six stars!.

There is only a difference of 2m and 70cm between the two meters
3/5

The only frequencies I can use are 2 meter and 70 cm unless I want to work at higher speeds. According to the instructions, it is only adjustable up to 11 meters and not adjustable at all for the other meters. Other than that, it works fine as a scanner antenna or a 2 meters/70 cm.

An excellent value that is likely to last a very long time
4/5

The stainless steel parts of this kit should be easy to assemble. the time of writing, I have tested the system over a range of 50-100 It is currently running at 220 MHz and appears to be working fine. I am giving it one point off for it being non-regulated Specified in the It is impossible to engage an anti-snap connector with 239 if the connector is not notch The mating PL-T's rotation features The connector 259 is a ring type. (To improve the fit, you will need to do the following file away the nubs on the mating connector. Can also serve as an all-purpose utility An FM broadcast antenna with a directional pattern.
