In all, I have about half a dozen of them in various lengths, three of which are still in the original Originally I was going to use them outside, but decided instead to use standard outside low loss cable after receiving advice from another ham who used to put up towers professionally. Still, they are a great choice for patch cord applications inside. With my 600 watt amplifier on the high frequency (HF) bands, it should probably be ok for a short run, but limiting their use to less than 100 watts has been my decision. In my opinion, the 8x is not optimal for higher power and/or frequencies, because of the irregularities in its frequency response. The higher frequencies I'm referring to are the midrange frequencies The VHF band and higher (over 2 meters). Despite the fact that it is soldered instead of crimped, the cable appears well made. The wheels are flexible, allowing them to turn in tight spaces. My cables have never failed me over the years and I have used them for years inside. For the rest of the products I've purchased, I wish I could say the same.
Excellent product at a good price.
I find it to be a great program.
I really like this cable, it works just fine.
This works, the quality is not the best, however, it is worth the price.
When I used these gold cables, my reception was always the best.
Insulation is adequate and the material is.
