Neither a screw nor other means of attachment was included in the antenna. I used the original screw holding the radio on to which it was attached, but it had broken when I installed the second. In the case of a through-mount If you needed to use a brass nut and bolt, its diameter 3/32 would suffice, length would not matter as it would be able to be shortened. The mount will already be threaded, so you'll have to find something that fits, or perhaps check with the manufacturer to determine what size will work for you. A quick search on the Internet often reveals the right answer.
It's not my responsibility to answer Sony's questions I tried them on my Sangean, but they did not even come close to fitting it Eventually, the trash can was filled with recycled paper. There is nothing special about them - they are generic garbage Crap you can find for the cheapest price -- Sony or a Sony retailer might be a good place to order
There are three sections to the antenna, which can each extend out three sections, and rotate 360 degrees in all directions. In terms of functionality, the antenna has the same properties as the original OEM version, although if collapsed, the length is somewhat longer than the one it replaces.
The telescoping antenna on this antenna is designed to replace those originally installed on this device. This kind of built-in antenna can't be found in the Bose Wave radio (I believe this is the one you're talking about). There seems to be no way to attach this FM antenna to a Bose Wave radio, since it's located inside the power cable. It is possible to attach an external FM antenna, but the type is different. Bose Customer Service can assist with one, according to the radio manual. Here in Amazon, you will find the most appropriate options for FM antenna for Bose wave radio by searching for the term.

My boom box is 25 years old, but I still use it to listen to the radio every day. There's a stub left of the antenna from when it was broken off a few years ago. While it was still working, there was a lot of interference and buzzing sounds, so I finally took the plunge and purchased a new radio. In the beginning, I bought one from the same company, but when I tried it out, I found it to be way too small. This case was super easy to return, so I did just that and got this larger size. I'm happy to report that there are no more buzzing sounds, allowing me to enjoy listening to the radio without interruption. That's a great idea. Can't believe I didn't think of it earlier.
Despite being able to adjust the length, the gold base tip is too short. The antenna on the old Panasonic AM/FM radio was bent, so I had to replace it. The fact that it said it was universal made it seem like it might be the answer. Although the gold base is only one notch, it cannot be adjusted. The base on this replacement antenna was too short to fit into the slot on the existing antenna. My old one had a gold base that was longer and had multiple holes along the shaft, allowing it to be placed in different slots based on the depth. I unscrewed and pulled out the old one, and I noticed it had a longer base and more holes along the shaft. We had to transfer the antenna's base to a new one, but could not do so. I had to return home.
To replace a broken antenna on my Grundig G5 shortwave radio, I purchased these. For these to fit, you have to unscrew the base from the old antenna and replace it with the ones that came with the replacement - you need to unscrew the base from the old antenna and replace it with the ones that came with the replacement. As a result, the diameters of the antenna do not fit and the antenna wiggles around. In case your antenna was completely lost and you don't have it, you might want to measure the hole diameter and see if there is a part that fits exactly. Even though it is slightly shorter than my old antenna, I haven't noticed any noticeable difference in quality it's still picking up commercial radio (AM/FM), as well as the louder SW stations just fine. It's hard to complain about something as inexpensive as this.
I had no problem playing this on our old Sony Boom Box with Mega Bass, used for more than 20 years. Did it exactly match? No, it didn't. How well did it work? I say HECK YEAH! It is now possible for me to listen to FM and AM radio stations. I have an extra antenna, as well. You just need to be aware of the small brass washers from the original antenna when replacing it. One slight issue I had with the replacement screw was having to tighten it slightly more. make sure you use a Phillips screwdriver of the appropriate size and go slowly.
Portable devices like these have broken or bent antennas that can be easily replaced with these expandable antennas. The most important thing is to use a white or similar coloured surface when replacing your broken antenna in this case a pillow case is perfect. There is generally a small washer between the antenna and the base of these antennas that I have seen. You will wonder why the new antenna does not fit tight if you are not careful, as this washer will tumble away unnoticed.
In place of the rubber one that came with my jobsite mobile radio in Milwaukee, I use this antenna. While it isn't precisely a replacement, it fits and works just fine. At only $7 for two, it is a relatively inexpensive substitute, and I always have one on hand when it breaks. An antenna like this can be replaced directly for $30, and they seem to pick up stations better than the originals. Deal of the day.
In just a few months, the new antenna went up, and once it was in place, all my radio channels could be listened It appears only to be one issue. A couple millimeters smaller than the original, the new antenna sits less securely in its housing because it is smaller and more pliable Because I didn't have an exact measurement of the original, I made that mistake. Even so, I am confident that we'll make it.
