A second-hand Jeep Grand Cherokee had no antenna. I missed it the first time around. The one I have seems to work fine and has been through several car washes. Due to the fact that I haven't used it, I cannot comment on how it performs against the stock one. This is assuming that the coat was taken off for washing and that it was never reattached. It's because of this that I chose this.
