Questions & Answers

What program do you recommend for animating this?

If you're running Windows 10, you should be able to use it with almost any drawing program that supports Drawing Tablets. I've used it primarily with open-source software. It works well with open-source software like Krita and OpenToonz, though the programs themselves are sometimes buggy. Paint Tool Sai is a well-known proprietary painting program, but it doesn't appear to work well with the tablet. I've discovered a bug in the program that causes Sai to need to be restarted or ignore tablet input if the program starts before the tablet is connected. However, this is most likely on Sai's end, not the tablet's. If you want to use this tablet on a Linux machine, they just released a beta Linux driver for it on their website last month, claiming that it works well on Ubuntu and that they haven't developed it for any other distros yet. Since I use Arch Linux, I haven't had the opportunity to test this driver because it appears to be incompatible with the Arch Linux kernel. Both OpenToonz and Krita are free to use. They've been open-sourced, so they're also available on Linux.

Before making a purchase, I wanted to double-check. Is there an ausb-certified version of this item? Is there a cord that is compatible with the newer Macbooks? or do I have to go out and buy it?

Hello, this item comes with a standard USB cord, so if you have one of the newer MacBooks, you'll need a converter.

Is this a PowerPoint-compatible file?

Yes : It functions similarly to a mouse, but it often gives you far more control over pointer-based graphics, such as circling an item on the screen or writing text.

Is it possible to use this device with Autodesk Sketchbook?

Thank you for contacting us about the XP-related issue. Digital Graphics Tablet PEN StarG640 Yes, it works with Autodesk Sketchbook, in response to your question!

This is an excellent product! I'm a college math professor who was recently forced to move all of my classes to the internet due to the Corona Virus outbreak
5/5

As a result, I've been using Zoom and sharing my screen with my students to transition from my traditional Face to Face class to throwing all of my classes online in under 24 hours. I'm used to putting my notes on the SmartBoard (in PDF format) and then writing all over it. That's something I can do with Zoom by sharing my screen and then "annotating" it. However, using a mouse to "annotate" (or write) on a computer screen is a difficult task! I could do it, but my handwriting was terrible, like that of a child. As a result, I went on the hunt for a pen-type solution to help me improve my handwriting. This is perfect for my needs! I had done some practice the night before, but it was simple to adjust to. I did have to download the drivers so that my laptop knew what to do with the pen when I plugged it in (it's USB, but it didn't recognize it until I got the drivers from the X-Force website). website for pens). It was incredibly simple to learn how to use, and it has significantly improved my handwriting! My purchase was a great success!.

There was a minor issue with the tablet, but it was quickly resolved thanks to INCREDIBLE customer service! I was about to buy a new Wacom (I've had a few) for around $350 when I came across these "cheapies
4/5

" I didn't have high expectations, but I was blown away! There were two things in particular that piqued my interest. The first was the percentage of people who filed a report. my Wacom (granted, it was a cheap one) The pen (end model for a Wacom) had a very annoying lag, and the drawing area was second. I was used to drawing on a small (6x4) drawing area with my Wacom, and I thought the G640 would be ideal because it was much more compact while still providing the same drawing area. I didn't miss the buttons because I didn't use them in the first place. The first thing I noticed when I got it was that it was warped. br>br> But I gave it a shot, and it didn't bother me when I placed it in my lap, as I usually do. On the other hand, it was a major issue on the surface of my desk. Personally, I believe it is far too thin. It didn't take long for me to realize that the size difference was significant. Despite the fact that the drawing area was the same, the overall size was inconvenient for me. This, I knew, would become less of an issue as I became accustomed to it. This is just something to think about. br>br>It was a piece of cake to get it up and running. Before I received it, I read the instructions and followed them to the letter. The drivers downloaded and installed as smoothly as or better than most other software I've ever installed. The pen has a smooth, precise feel to it, with almost no lag! In almost every way, it outperformed the far more expensive Wacom. I primarily do photo restorations, which necessitated a high level of precision, and this small tablet delivered in spades. The pen was a little lighter than I'm used to, but that's something I can adjust to. Overall, this tablet is fantastic for the price of $30! Only the warping was a problem. Now comes the big one. br>br> Nobody has ever provided me with such excellent customer service! They sent me an email to see how I was getting on with it _before_ I told them there were any issues. So I told them about my problems, and they responded with a solution in an email. It's all there. I am an extremely happy customer! To be honest, I'm not sure why some people were so depressed. Anyway, I'll be replacing my G640 with one of their larger models soon, thanks to their excellent customer service.

This is an excellent little tablet! Whether you're just starting out or not, this small tablet is ideal
5/5

It has excellent screen coverage as well as stylus response, which includes pressure and speed. It's an incredible little creature! It does run small, so make sure you position it where your mouse and mousepad would be while using the tablet and pen provided (for me, I put it where my mouse and mousepad would be while using it, so my wrist isn't strained). br>br>Item arrived in perfect condition, as pictured and packaged, and was delivered on time. I've had this product since April of 2018 and have had no problems with it. The tablet is undamaged, the pen is undamaged, and the chord is still intact, with no signs of breakage, denting, or unresponsiveness.
