Mishapen. The images speak for themselves when it comes to fragility. I had no intention of writing a review for these low-cost knockoffs until one of the tips snapped on a drop from a height of not much more than a few feet. In such a situation, I've never had a genuine Apple pencil tip break. This isn't even taking into account the rest of the flaws: The seam, the narrow neck connecting the tip to the base with the screw threading (which caused the break), the misshapen/mushrooming tip, and the inaccurate taper/angle of the tip contact surface are all to blame for the break. Furthermore, a tap on the screen from less than a millimeter away will be initiated by these tips. The images in the advertisement are not at all representative of what I received. This could be a flaw, but for the time being, this is a misleading description and a defective product.
Legit! This is a set of replacement tips for Apple products. They're great, and I use Procreate all day to draw on my iPad, so I go through the tips quickly. You can't beat the price for four of them (which is the same as the price on the Apple website). My Apple Pencil is from the first generation.
So I was going to make some cheesy remark about ordering four electronic "pencil tips" for $20, but I'm actually blown away by how good they are. I had no idea how much the one I'd had for three years had worn down, and changing 'just the tip' made such a difference. I'm going to switch them out a lot more now.
I'm thrilled to have new Apple Pencil 1st generation tips! I use my pencil a lot with my Procreate app, and they've been through a lot in the last few years. I needed these because my pencil wasn't gliding across the screen like it used to. I immediately replaced it and began drawing; it now feels exactly like a new pencil! 😍.
There were no issues, and they arrived on time and in a nice Amazon box with plenty of packing. Apple used standard packaging on the inside. They appear to be the same as the Apple Pencil's original and version 2 tips. Like the lower-cost "no-name brand" cheaper Amazon tips, they're most likely made in China. Only if there is a reasonable level of quality control in place. I've never had to use the tips that came with this order because I still have the original tips on both of my pencils. If anything goes wrong with these replacement tips, I'll update this review to reflect my findings and adjust the star rating accordingly.
For my Apple Pencil, these are excellent replacement tips. Of course, you'll have to pay a premium for it, as with all Apple products.
I like that these are easy to replace, because I've dropped my pen a few times and the point always seems to fall to the ground.
To be honest, I was hesitant to pay $5 for a tip when I could get one for less money. But! Given that it says "Apple," I decided to give the seller a chance. And, sure enough, they arrived in Apple packaging that was as nice as it could be. The first image depicts the packaging of the tips. br>In the second photo, you can see how worn out my old tip is.
