For those who don't want to read the whole thing, here's a quick rundown This is a fantastic product. It includes a Small XP Anti-Virus. already has a fouling glove, a Mini- For Mac users, there's a display Port/HDMI converter, as well as eight replaceable nibs and a set of voltage/power adapters for other countries. It lacks a higher resolution screen, but that is minor in comparison to the screen's size. This is by far the best purchase for a Drawing tablet this size, with 8192 levels of pressure and a built-in screen!br>br>First, let me say that I've used a Wacom Bamboo for years (as well as another third-party, larger tablet, which was terrible). It worked fine, but I never got used to looking away from my hand while drawing, which can be a major stumbling block for many people who want to learn how to use a tablet. The Bamboo cost around $200 before taxes when I purchased it. The cost of this item is $249. It's well worth the $99 price tag (even without any coupons, which you might find). So the box arrives, and they've gone above and beyond to make sure the tablet is safe and secure. A padded interior top, a Screen protector on top of an Anti-Scratch layer, and an Anti-Scratch layer are all included. Styrofoam and a glare screen protector This thing was immaculate; the inside packaging is neat and organized, and you know exactly where everything is. br>br>As previously stated, it includes an Anti-Virus component. glare Screen that has already been applied (though removing the protective cover on top of it will require caution). Anti- is a term that is used to describe a substance that has been Glare screens can be as cheap as $20, so you'll get one right away. free. This is a must for any tablet with a built-in screen, as the pen can scratch the screen if you press too hard with it. Alternatively, you don't want to compete with a glare if your room lighting is poor. Finally, if you're using it in conjunction with another monitor, you don't want the monitor's light to interfere with your work. This is a GOD-given talent. SEND. br>br>As advertised, the pen does not require a battery. This is fantastic because it eliminates the need to rush to the store and buy a triple-pack of triple-packs of triple-packs of triple-packs of triple-packs of triple-packs of triple-packs of triple-packs of What is the letter A for? whichever route they take. You can start using it right away and keep it for as long as you'd like. br>br>After that, there are the Nibs, which come with eight replaceable nibs. This is great because, if you draw frequently (which you should if you're looking at this type of product), the nibs will deteriorate over time, regardless of brand, so having 8 replacements is a good idea and should last a long time. However, for those who frequently throw away the instructions: DON'T. You might need them in the future to quickly replace nibs. br>br>You will receive a FREE SMALL anti-theft device. glove for fouling This is fine if you have a small hand; otherwise, you may need to order a larger size; however, this is a minor nitpick given that a glove costs around $10. 00, but we'll get to that later. The cables are next. br>br> The cable is solid, and the point where it connects to the tablet is set at a 90-degree angle, which helps to prevent the cable from twisting around and causing damage. This is fantastic, and I wish that more tablets, especially in this price range, used this design. My only complaint is that the cables should be braided to help prevent damage, but this is a minor quibble. Set- It's simple to set up, but you'll need an HDMI port on your graphics card or on your motherboard's I/O to do so. You're in luck if you have a Macintosh because it comes with an HDMI to Mini Display adapter right out of the box! This eliminates the need to purchase an overpriced product. Apple has one that is reasonably priced! (HOORAY! )br>br>Screen clarity is nice, especially with the anti-reflective coating. )br>br> Turn on the glare shield. Because the monitor's size determines the maximum resolution, I can't complain that it's only 1080p (Full HD). You can use it as a regular tablet without the screen, or you can share the screen with the tablet (which is a little more technical), which means you can still use it with your 4k Ultra HD, 144 Hertz Monitor with a 1ms response (if you have one). That said, if you do so, you should disable the tablet's screen and concentrate on the better monitor, which will be more accurate to what you're drawing. Again, this takes some getting used to, but unlike with a similarly priced Wacom product, you have the OPTION to choose whether or not you want to do so. br>br>Installing the Driver software to get it to work at its full potential takes about 20 seconds, which is typical for most driver software. br>br>Now, if you want something similar from Wacom, you're looking at a price range of $500 to $1,000 or more, just to get a built-in screen. So, for $50 more than a Bamboo CTH470 (which doesn't have a built-in screen, replacement nibs, or an anti-smudge coating), you get a Bamboo CTH470 with a built-in screen, replacement nibs, and an anti-smudge coating), you get a Bamboo CTH470 with a built a pair of travel adapters, or a fouling glove you get the idea), you'll be getting a full-fledged full-fledged full-fledged full-fledge HD touch- Anti-scratch tablet Pre-installed glare blocker applied, a pair of nibs and a glove, an adapter (which from Apple could cost another $20 or so), and, perhaps most importantly for a TRAVELING artist, a set of Power Adapters for various countries! That's right, they threw in a couple of European power adapters for you (which typically cost around $30). So, if you're hosting a gathering of friends and family, If you're sailing on the seas, you're mostly covered and can use this (just make sure you have enough power). In the box, there is an adapter. Alternatively, you could use Air- They're also sold in ports). br>br>So, to summarize, there are eight replacement Nibs, Anti- Small, anti-fouling glove Pre-installed glare shield Traveling Adapters, and Mac Adapter are all examples of applied. We'll say Nibs are inexpensive (though they haven't been in my experience) and worth around $5. 00, Anti- The cost of a fouling glove is approximately ten dollars. 00, Anti- The cost of a glare screen for a 12 inch monitor is around $20. 00, while travel adapters cost about $15. From $0 to $30. A Mac HDMI to Mini Display costs around $15 (depending on the brand and specials). The lowest possible total for all of the extras is around $65. 00 (not including tax) at the cheapest. This is despite the fact that it comes with a built-in screen that does not flicker! This is, without a doubt, the best option. for those interested in getting into the digital medium as a hobby. Only the Cintiq Model Line from Wacom has built-in Screens, and those are bloody big and expensive!br>br>So do yourself a favor and get this if you want to get into Digital Art. For the Enthusiasts, who are really into Digital Art, you might want to look at a bigger model for a better Resolution, especially if you do this for Commision or for a business.
My daughter has been requesting an art tablet with a built-in art program for quite some time. This device appeared to be a good match. I got it as a Christmas present for her and gave it to her early. I had no intention of keeping her waiting. We, on the other hand, stuck to the script. in the right direction We installed the driver on a desktop and quickly discovered that it was only compatible with Windows XP. Pen doesn't use an art program that isn't connected to the computer. In order to use an art program on the device, she must be tethered to the computer that has the downloaded driver, which is a huge letdown. br>br>My daughter is constantly on the go, and she prefers to travel with small devices. She hoped the XP-related issues would be resolved soon. Pen would provide her with exactly that, allowing her to draw wherever she wanted without the need for additional devices. I'm hurt by her dissatisfaction with the product. It's almost Christmas, and I'm still undecided about what I'm going to get her. br>br>I'm sure the product does what it's supposed to do, and it seems to work for other artists, but it doesn't meet my daughter's needs. We're sorry, but this product does not meet our expectations.
Despite the fact that the display wasn't that great (not very bright even at its highest setting), it was very responsive. br>My reason for downgrading to 3 stars is that this display has some major drawbacks for me: br>br>1) This tablet only works in portrait mode when the duplicate display is enabled. In landscape mode, duplicate displays do not work. 2) Duplicate displays only work if both monitors are set to the same resolution, which is a problem when working on a 4k primary display because the resolution is only 1920x1080 (which means both displays must be set to 1920x1080 before duplicating the display, and it only works in portrait orientation). br>br>3) Documentation is almost non-existent. There are no forums where people can get peer-to-peer answers to simple questions, and they are non-existent.
It works great on my Mac and has worked flawlessly with Photoshop, Krita, and even 3D modeling! The size is enormous (11 inches). Area of display: 6" The thickness is 453". It comes with six programmable shortcut keys and a touch bar. It has a high-definition display that appears to be higher-resolution than my MacBook. The pen is very comfortable to use and does not need to be charged. You can adjust the pen's pressure to suit your drawing style with its 8192 levels. The tablet comes complete with all of the required cables to get you up and running including a glove and screen wipe. I have had a blast with this device and would 100% recom Thank you, xp pen, for creating such a low-cost graphics tablet!.
This tablet, on the other hand, is fantastic! This tablet is perfect for me! It performs admirably and at a reasonable price!br>br>- I had no issues with setup because it was quick and simple.
- There was no lag while drawing on the Artist 12 because it is extremely responsive.
- The express keys are simple to set up and use, as well as being very effective.
- The display is also very good, with a lot of color and detail. br>br>I have a lot of fun drawing on the Artist 12. If you're looking for a tablet with a screen, I highly recommend it. It has surpassed my expectations and has not disappointed me in the least.
