Questions & Answers

This is a broad question, but what would you have liked to know about it before you bought it? Just so I'm aware of what's going on?

I went to art school for animation and was unfamiliar with tablets; at the time, only new Wacom tablets were available. They're so expensive, and I was ecstatic when I first learned about other tablet brands. I now consider Huion to be the best because their higher-end tablets cost three times as much as Wacom's, and I believe they have more features and perform better. Windows 10 has flaws, and Windows 8 was my favorite. 1 is the best because of the apps that Windows 10 lacks; there are a lot of drivers to download and some additional setup work, but I've never had a problem with any of the computers I've purchased. I use it in Photoshop, Krista, and Gimp, but one of the tablets I really liked but couldn't afford at the time has a zoom feature, which is simple to set up in the features to download and customize the tablet hot keys and the digital pen. I'm glad they finally released a pen that doesn't require batteries or can be charged.

In inches, how big is this tablet?

Thank you for taking the time to express your concern. The Huion H640P drawing tablet has a size of 10 inches by 10 inches by 10 inches by 10 inches by 10 inches by 10 inches by 10 24 x 5. 81 x 0. The working area is 6 feet by 31 inches. 3 x 3. 9 inches.

Is this product covered by a warranty?

Yes, each Huion product comes with a one-year warranty, and if there is a hardware issue, we will replace it for you.

Is it possible to use this on a Chromebook? What are some excellent free or low-cost drawing programs? thanks! ?

KRITA (free open source) software is comparable to, if not superior to, Photoshop. KRITA is particularly well suited to drawing and painting. I use it in place of Photoshop in my graphic design classes, and I haven't found anything that Photoshop can't do that KRITA can't. It's very user-friendly, and it has some features that even Photoshop lacks. I honestly don't want to go back because of the virus that is the Adobe cloud suite, which you are forced to download for any Adobe product. Not to mention the price, which is out of this world. I'll be using Krita for the rest of my life!

It's a hit with my 13-year-old son
5/5

My son is a true artist; he taught himself how to use this tablet, and I've seen his early sketches to his most recent ones. Amazing self-taught artist. Take a look at a photo of his most recent digital sketch. It's so simple to use that even a 12-year-old (he was 12 at the time he received it) can improve his drawing skills with each drawing. Congratulations to the creator of this graphic tablet.

This tablet is ideal for those who are just starting out as artists
5/5

This tablet is ideal for those who are just starting out as artists. The price is very reasonable for someone who does not have a lot of disposable income, and it offers a lot of the same features as much more expensive drawing tablets. I think it's a great deal for the price; my first Wacom tablet cost around $75 (which I bought with my own money when I was a kid), so I think this is a very good price range. It appears to be quite small, but it is in fact quite large.

It is not always the case that less expensive is the worst option

Pros:
- Battery- fewer pensbr>- a compact versionbr>- Shortcut keys that can be programmed (both on the tablet and on the pen)br>- There is little to no lagbr>- a good cord lengthbr>- Extra nibs and a pen standbr>- Cons: Extremely high pressure levels for a ridiculously low pricebr>br>Pros: Extremely high pressure levels for a ridiculously low pricebr>br>Cons: Extremely
- The cord could be longer (this is purely a personal preference)br>- br>br>Summary: Some programs do not work well with pressure sensitivity. br>br> br>I didn't know what to expect when I bought this. Outside of a few sketches on my phone when touch screens were still new and exciting, I never drew digitally. With everyone praising Wacom tablets, I turned away from the less expensive ones, thinking to myself, "Oh no one mentions them, they must be inferior and don't work. " "I learned when I switched from my Galaxy S3 to the LG G3 that just because it's a smaller company with less expensive products doesn't mean it's inferior. After reading numerous reviews comparing this to Wacom's offerings and concluding that it is comparable to, if not better than, Wacom's offerings, I decided to give it a try. Now that I haven't drawn in years, my artistic abilities have deteriorated, but this tablet is still functional. I was able to draw, paint, doodle, and do whatever I wanted with the full range of pressure using a free trial of Paint Tool Sai and the free program Krita. The pressure sensitivity, however, is not supported by Gimp. The only real gripe was learning the softway and drawing without hitting the pen's buttons, but those issues will, of course, fade away with time. This is an excellent purchase if you are new to digital drawing or are on a tight budget.

CAN YOU DO BETTER THAN WACOM? perhaps
5/5

THIS TABLET, THIS COMPANY, I ABSOLUTELY HECKN LOVE! THE TABLETS ARE AFFORDABLE AND AMAZING, OH MY GOD. For the past 6 years, I've been using a Wacom Bamboo Touch; This was my very first tablet. When I first got the h640p, I noticed an immediate difference in the way the pen interacted with the tablet. Unlike the blurry lines produced by the Wacom, the lines I drew were not blurry when I zoomed in on the canvas. The pen has a good grip and fits well in my hand; on the other hand, I found that with my other tablet, I couldn't always get the right angle to draw. The pen and tablet, for example, felt awkward, but I can draw very comfortably with this tablet. br>I had no trouble setting up the tablet, and programming it was a breeze, but this may vary depending on the computer and drawing software used. br>br>I've included a picture of the two!.

On this model, I'm signing my John Hancock
5/5

It's a work of art! Okay, let me begin by saying that I am not a professional graphic artist, so don't expect this review to be particularly artistic. I've spent my entire career in the creative arts, and I'm a passionate photographer. I enjoy digital photography and the ability to edit photos after they've been taken. br>br>The ability to manipulate light and shadows, exposure, midtones, saturation, and other aspects of the photograph, as well as the ability to control tiny areas of the photograph, are all things I do in the digital darkroom. A tablet and pen are essential tools for working effectively with masks and feathering to control effects. I've had a Wacom Bamboo tablet and pen for a long time. They were excellent for entry-level work and experimenting to see if a tablet would truly be my preferred tool. br>br>Well, I recently built a new PC and upgraded the photography software that I use. The Wacom tablet and pen's response had become unpredictably poor. I went on Amazon to see what the latest crop of tablets were like because Wacom no longer had new drivers for the Bamboo tablet line that worked well with Windows 10. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I don't make a living doing this, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After looking at a few of the tablets, I decided on a few criteria that were important to me: The tablet's size, the number of customisable buttons and their layout, and a pen that didn't need to be charged. br>br>I was intrigued by some wireless tablets, which would allow me to avoid worrying about cords dangling around the keyboard, but after thinking about how I use my pen and tablet, I realized I didn't need one. I had previously used a Huion tablet and had been satisfied with its performance (it remains at my desk at work, where I occasionally use it). However, this H640P appeared to be particularly intriguing, and the price was enticing. br>br>I just hooked it up for the first time today, and I can tell Huion has improved the design and functionality of their tablets significantly. This one is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. It's SMOOTH and responsive, and I've played around with the tablet buttons and layout a few times, and I think I've got it pretty close to where I want it. It's become a lot of fun to use the pen as a digital brush. After working with Wacom tablets on Macs, I can say that the response and ease of use on my PC with this new tablet is just as good. I'm so taken aback by how simple it is to use that I'm on the lookout for more photos to experiment with! br>br>The tablet is a good size, and I can easily move it from my lap to my desk. For easy access, I keep it close to my keyboard and mouse (yes, some of my favorite things to do require a mouse). The tablet is small and light, but it is extremely durable. This surface allows the pen's nib to glide. The driver software allows you to adjust the pen's pressure sensitivity, and I'm very pleased with how well it works. It has over 8000 levels of pressure sensitivity, which allows me to change the brush size on the fly. If I want to widen my brush, I simply press harder and watch the cursor expand and contract as I do so. The cost is $50. br>br> 00! At this price, this tablet is a STEAL; if you're on the fence and have the cash (and Amazon's return policy if you decide this tablet isn't for you), you should DEFINITELY LOOK HARD at this model. I'm very happy with my decision and anticipate a long relationship with my new Huion Inspiroy tablet.
