It appears to be in good condition- I only got it a few days ago, but it's well-made for the price. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn up the volume on this device. It's either completely silent or turned up to eleven. The volume dial moves, but it has no effect on the volume. The sound level is unaffected by changes in computer volume. Either it's turned off or it's unbearably loud. br>br>I looked for a similar speaker with the same features, but the only ones that come close are at least 3 or 4 inches larger, or lack one of the other features I'm looking for. Another unit is on its way from Amazon customer service. When I receive the replacement, I will update this review. br>br>UPDATE 2ND ATTEMPT: Today, I received the new speaker. It took only two days for it to arrive. I plugged it in and it worked perfectly right away. I wish I hadn't wasted so much time with the first one trying to figure out what went wrong. Clearly, that one is faulty; however, the product, features, and functionality are excellent. Only four stars because the quality is hit-or-miss, but this is a $20 speaker. It is excellent value for money. It also comes with a two-year warranty, which is an added bonus. If it dies before that, I'll look into the warranty.

For my gaming experience on the go, I've been looking for a USB powered speaker system that I can take with me. This one is ideal for me because it takes up little room on my desk or in my bag. You don't need a wall plug to power these speakers; instead, you can power and listen to them using a single USB cable, which is convenient for when I need to give a presentation and need a portable speaker. This is also ideal for my standing desk, because the cable can simply be connected to my laptop. I'm sure a lot of people would prefer the number 5. 1 These speakers, on the other hand, are fantastic in their own right. I can take this with me if I need to, and I'm often on the road, so having a good set of speakers is essential. The cable cannot be replaced, which is a disadvantage. Because the cable is part of the speaker system, you won't be able to replace it if it gets damaged. I wish it came with a type c or micro USB cable so you could swap it out when you need to. Because it's USB-only, you won't be able to connect your MP3 player or anything else to it. It has to be USB-only. In addition, you have no control over the color of the LED lights. This can be used to play music by plugging in 5 different devices. It also lacks Bluetooth, which is a disappointment. It's also a bummer that you can't change the color of the LEDs on the speakers. The cable is also not replaceable, so if it breaks, the speaker will be difficult to repair. Aside from that, it delivers a crisp, powerful sound while remaining portable and light. It's perfect for those outdoor movies, as well as everyday use.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. One of my laptops' internal speakers has been damaged, and this is a great replacement. So far, it has worked flawlessly on a Mac, a PC, and "some" Linux. Of course, this isn't a "party speaker" or "sound bar," but it's a decent mid-range option. level sound (mids and highs are superior to the majority of laptop speakers). Oh, and the lights (which can be turned off) are really cool. This is a good fix if your PC or laptop's output is poor.

It's incredibly simple to set up. Simply connect it to a USB port; however, because the speaker end is hardwired, you won't be able to replace the cable if it breaks. The sound quality is adequate but not exceptional. I use it at work to watch training videos and other things, and it's more than capable. Apart from that, it's small and attractive; the only reason I docked a star is because of the hardwired cable and unremarkable sound, but don't get me wrong, the sound isn't bad. The highs are crystal clear, but the lows are a little muddy. Overall, it's a decent speaker with only a few minor flaws. And at this price, I'm willing to give a little wiggle room. It provides excellent value for money.

This speaker has it all, and I'm especially pleased to find volume control on a USB-only speaker, which was difficult to come by but was crucial to my needs. The sound is excellent, the production appears to be of high quality, and I enjoy the way it de-emphasizes. My desk, as well as the cables surrounding it, are cluttered. It's also simple to set up, which is fantastic. br>The lights are a nice bonus, but I like that I can turn them off. The off switch for the lights didn't work on the first one I ordered, but everything else worked fine, so I emailed customer service about it, and they immediately sent me a replacement, no questions asked, and it's perfect. br>So I would definitely recommend this speaker (and seller).
