In reality, this is a very basic product - Steel that has been flattened and powder-coated. And these guys didn't screw it up in the least - They did an excellent job. I read in some other reviews for similar products that theirs were flimsy and bent and moved up and down with the weight of the speaker. These aren't among them. They are made of steel, not aluminum, and are very sturdy. My speakers don't even come close to putting their weight-bearing capacity to the test, but I'm sure they could handle a lot more.
I was unsure at first if these would actually improve the sound of my speakers, and I wasn't sure if I liked the height of them, but my ears say they love them! When sitting at a computer, this position places the speakers at the optimal ear height, which makes a significant difference when listening to music or audio. 5 stars!.
It is simple, elegant, and effective. My speakers are quite heavy, but the stands hold them in place perfectly. When seated at a desk, stands raise speakers to an audible level. This product comes highly recommended.
I would never have paid nearly $50 for a few bent metal pieces. I used to use two $1 Progresso soup cans before I got these. They weren't as good as the others, but they were a MUCH better value at 68 cents each.
Stands are excellent. Hubs and battery chargers can now be installed beneath the speakers. br>br>They're well-made, heavy, and don't wobble in the least. My only complaint is that the metal and the speaker are not properly insulated or dampened. I already had vibration dampening pads on my speakers, so it wasn't an issue for me, but it would have been nice to have something that fit the stands, which is why I gave it four stars.
These are quite sturdy, albeit a little larger than I had anticipated, but they still work out well. The angle is ideal for my workstation. However, for a cleaner appearance, I wish there was some kind of wire routing on the back. However, on the whole, it's a fantastic film.
They do, however, hold them well, as the metal is sturdy and of good quality. It opens up the desktop and improves the sound quality of the speakers by suspending them instead of having them sit on the desk. The cones and tweeters are at the perfect height and angle for my ears and head. br>br>I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they work and how well they fit into my setup.
They are extremely effective. My PreSonus Eris 3 arrived today. 5 speakers were moved away from the desk and placed at a more convenient listening height. The footprint of the stand is also quite small, and the space underneath allows you to store any peripherals you want on your desk but out of the way.
