Yes, there is no charge. All you need is a plug that is appropriate for your region. The price of a plug is around $1 to $3.

How far apart do the speakers stand? Is there a limit to how far they can be dispersed?

I'm looking for a speaker-to-speaker extension cable, but I'm not sure where to find one. It's part number 364138, according to the rumor mill. 001S, but it's not listed on their website.

Is there any good male-female-female-female-fe Is there a female connector from Bose that can be used to extend the cord length from the speaker to the computer?

3 can be found on Amazon. Male to female cable, 5 mm (equivalent to 1/8 inch): There are a zillion of them, ranging in length from 3 feet to 100 feet. For a more reliable and long-lasting connection, gold connectors are recommended.

Metal is what it is. The sound quality is superb. Every tune or piece of music I've played on the internet has come to life because of it.

There are no other computer speakers on the market that are as good as these
5/5

There are no other computer speakers on the market that are as good as these. The $249 price tag on the Bose 20s is justified. I've tried speakers in every price range (from the cheapest to the most expensive), and they're all great. The higher the dollar amount, the better. In the $100-$200 range, you can find high-quality Bose and Logitech headphones. In the 150s. All of them were beaten by these Bose 20s, and it wasn't even close. These are a nice match for my Bose Soundtouch 30s, which I use at home. I have a music studio in my office that I use for a variety of purposes. I was listening to music on my iPad or iPhone (the Bose 30 is a fantastic standalone system). Return to the 1920s with Bose: a noise- Given that these are only a pair of speakers that take up very little space and lack a separate subwoofer unit, the output and quality are incredible. I like how the small rotating disk allows me to adjust the volume. control. Due to my gear, I only have a small amount of space for computer speakers. setup. These Bose 20s sound fantastic and are mounted on small shelves above my monitors. Whether you're listening to Beethoven, Black Sabbath, or Slayer, or watching or listening to something work-related (or both), similar to a crime scene video, a 911 call These speakers won't let you down whether you're listening to a phone call, watching a YouTube video, or playing Fight Night or Battlefield 4 (which I do). When listening to a song by a band with a great guitarist, bassist, and drummer, the players on these speakers can be clearly distinguished. When you listen to a stream with background noise (such as a news report with some idiot blabbing in the background), you can clearly hear what the background-noise is. This is what blabber has to say. The quality of the input- like that of any good speaker- is crucial. The quality of the input determines the quality of the output, so the better the input, the better the output. If you're listening to an oldie but a goodie, I recommend upgrading to the remastered version for the best experience with these Bose 20s. Look for the "HD" version of whatever you're watching or listening to on YouTube. You're not going to be let down.

The knob volume pod will fail in two years (or less)
4/5

EDIT: You can, however, clean it! After two years of use, the knob will begin to fail, and I've read dozens of complaints about the same issue. br>br>The volume fluctuates when you play music without touching the volume knob. The volume fluctuates erratically when the knob is turned up or down. br>I've had this problem for far too long, and because it can't be fixed, I'm writing this review to warn others. br>br>Here's BOSE's ineffective solution:br>br>Perform a product reset by following these steps:br>br>
1. Turn off the system's connected devicebr>2. Remove the system's power cord from the wall outlet. pause for 30 secondsbr>wait for 30 secondsbr>wait for 30 secondsbr>wait br>4. Reconnect the power cord. Re-test the systembr>br>I've read about dozens of other people having the same problem with no real solution other than replacing the knob. Cleaning it is impossible because it was not designed to be maintained in any way. br>br>Until BOSE provides a solution or even a response to their customers, I will reconsider whether they are the high-quality brand they claim to be. EDIT: br>br> Eventually, I was able to clean it up on my own: ) Remove the rubber from beneath the pod and look for a screw. I brushed everything after spraying it with electronic contact cleaner and opening the pod. It appears to be brand new.

The sound quality is satisfactory
3/5

These speakers have a surprising amount of volume for their size. There are, however, significantly better options if you have more space. This is your standard Bose heavy bass sound. Because they rely on an exaggerated low-frequency response, their speakers are always muffled. end. Even with equalization, they sound a little flat. Again, for their size, they generate a low level of interest. Bose simply cannot compete in the high-end audio market. the end of the audio They leave a high-quality imprint on everything they do. They put a high price tag on their speakers and talk a big game, but in the end, they're outclassed because of lower prices. EDIT: br>br> They are in- after a few more uses. In fact, if you EQ them, they're fantastic. These speakers appear to be of a high quality. end 2. When they're EQ'd, they're only one sound system. Both the mid and low frequencies must be reduced, and by a significant amount. They sound REALLY muddy if you don't EQ them. EDIT 2: br>br> Actually, these sound pretty bad. These are getting worse the more I listen to them. They have a muddy sound, lack clarity, and sound bad in general. I do purchase high-quality items. However, these are fairly low-end audio equipment. end. I'll most likely find a way to fit my Energy bookshelf speakers on my desk despite the fact that they sound a million times better. In all of their products, Bose is essentially garbage, low-quality and unreliable. end products that are sold at a premium.

The sound quality is excellent, but the functionality is lacking
3/5

To replace my old desktop speakers, I bought these speakers. After looking at a variety of speaker options, I decided on these because of the Bose sound quality, which has lived up to expectations. These speakers have a couple of flaws that I don't care for. To begin with, the cord connecting the two speakers is too short to fit on the shelves I had planned to use them on. Second, every 30 minutes or so, the power saving feature kicks in, turning off my music until I tap the control unit or wiggle the volume up or down. So far, that has been my most serious complaint about the product. Finally, as mentioned by a few other reviewers, there is a lot of feedback buzz when the unit is in standby mode. Other power cords in close proximity to the speaker wires are to blame for the feedback, but it's annoying enough. If you're looking for a new speaker, I'd recommend saving some money and going with one of Bose's wireless options.

An exploration of sound's wonders! I plugged everything in, went to YouTube to find some of my favorite songs, and turned on the speakers
5/5

I realized right away that I hadn't actually HEARD music in a long time. I have no idea what base, woofers, or anything like that is. I'm pretty sure I'm going to like these speakers! Please exit the room now. Ernesto Cortazar is on the radio right now.
