When they arrived, I connected them, and neither the size nor the sound quality disappointed me. It's amazing how much sound can be packed into such a small space. br>Bluetooth capable, and I've had no problems connecting to it. Rather than having speaker controls on the face of the speakers, I prefer the touchpad operation. I wasn't sure about this concept at first, but it only took a nanosecond for me to adjust and realize how cool it is. br>I would purchase these speakers again without hesitation.
I'm not sure what you can get for this kind of money, as this is the first time I've bought a pair of computer speakers rather than a pair of headphones. 1 of which is equipped with a subwoofer. I quickly paired them with my phone via Bluetooth and skimmed through a few songs I was familiar with. I guess I was expecting them to sound better right away. The sound was a little treble-heavy. the heavy, and the middle The range was not in the best of shape. Then I realized I had the volume all the way up and it was set to Movie, so I changed it to Music, turned it down halfway, and listened for about an hour. Maybe it was the process of breaking in the speakers, or simply allowing my ears to adjust to what was going on, but I'm starting to like them more. The treble is crystal clear, and the bass is powerful. They're free of contamination. I was looking for small speakers with a small footprint on my desk, and that's exactly what I found. In light of the price, I am now convinced that this was a wise purchase. It is highly recommended.
Let's start with a reality check. These are SMALL speakers, and you'll be disappointed if you expect them to replace a full-sized speaker system or one with a subwoofer. There's no way you'll get anything close to a "thumping" bass response from something this small. Nonetheless, they sound great for what they are, generating a lot of mid-range. Bass, mids, and treble are all very good. They can get quite loud, but their sound will be a little middle-of-the-road. At high levels, it's rangy and boxy. They'll suffice for most purposes, and they'll be a step up from the ones that came with your computer. br>br>Hookup is a fairly straightforward process. There's an AC adaptor that plugs into the right-hand speaker, a four-foot cable that connects the left and right speakers, and a four-foot audio cable with three speakers if your system isn't Bluetooth compatible. Included are 5mm stereo phone plugs. Only the power and volume /- buttons are present. the unit's buttons Turning the unit on or off requires pressing and holding the power button for three seconds. The power button can be toggled between wired and Bluetooth input with a double click. The power button is switched between three different EQ settings with a one-second press of the power button. The EQ setting you've chosen is indicated by a small synthesized voice. nice. br>br>These speakers replaced some Logitech speakers with a subwoofer that had reached the end of their useful life after 15 years. They'll do the job for the money, but since this is my only music system at the moment, I'll probably look for something a little better with a subwoofer in the long run.
Keep in mind that in the past (the 1970s and 1980s), I used to be an audio snob in the 1980s. Let's just say the current crop of portable Bluetooth speakers don't quite cut it for someone who is focused on high end (expensive) gear and is very particular about sound quality, imaging, frequency response, and so on. br>I wanted a very small, well-balanced, high-fidelity sound for this spot. For this studio monitor setup, stereo imaging is a must. These KEiiDs are absolutely incredible. I've built a few sets of speakers in the past and thought about this setup- Each speaker has a small, high-quality full-range driver as well as multiple passive radiators. The KEiiDs are created by combining a little power with a little creativity. br>Extremely high quality and feel on the outside. If you don't press them, they make an amazing sound. They can play loudly, but as the volume rises, so does the level of distortion. Keep in mind that these speakers are only about 5 inches tall, 3 inches deep, and less than 3 inches wide; they're essentially computer speakers that pack a punch. I'm not sure there's anything else at this price point that looks and sounds this good. br>Have a good time with it.
These aren't the usual flimsy light plastic boxes that produce poor sound. These are small, but they have some weight to them, which is comparable to speaker magnets of reasonable size. br>It's clear as a bell. There is no distortion even at higher levels. Keep in mind that these are intended for use on your desktop and within a short distance. They are excellent for their intended purpose. br>They can also be used like any other wireless Bluetooth speaker when paired with a device, and I believe they'd be adequate as bedside or bookshelf speakers in a small room. There are three different sound modes to choose from: Movies, music, and video games are some of my favorite things to do. When I'm listening to music, I much prefer the movie setting. It produces a pleasant enveloping sound. It's as if you're sitting right in the middle of the soundstage if you sit between them in the sweet spot. In the end, these are a fantastic deal for the money. Without reservation, I recommend this book.
Because of their size, I was hesitant to purchase these speakers, but what a wonderful experience it has been listening to my favorite music through them. The sound is so good that it made me feel like I was in the middle of a live concert, with no distortion from bass to treble. My selection has made me extremely happy. If you're looking for something for your studio that delivers live-like sound at a reasonable price, don't hesitate to buy these speakers. You won't be disappointed.
