I think they were about 3 feet long, maybe 4 feet long, and I was able to stretch them from left to right around my 45" television and still have plenty of slack.br>
Yes, I record with this system, which includes a DAW and an interface. My system has been with me for two years and it sounds great. I use a mix of headphones and speakers for recording and rechecking music, which is especially good for the price.

I tried a number of different approaches, but none of them were successful. When I contacted Cyber Acoustics, I was told that this was an older model with no warranty. I'm going to get something else from a different company. Original Review: br>br>Original Review: br>br>Original Review: br>br>O I'd just finished putting together my midlife crisis gaming PC when I realized I'd forgotten to buy speakers! I bought this model for my wife's office a few years ago, and she absolutely loves it. I was immediately smitten with these after plugging them in, and I'm currently working my way through my playlist. br>Pros: br>Affordablebr>I like the volume controlbr>The mids and low end of the highs are clearbr>br>Cons: br>It's a little muddy in the bass. br>The highs are good, but they aren't as crisp as they could be. br>br>Overall, these are excellent speakers for the price. They're good right out of the box and get even better as the audio controls are tweaked. To be safe, be aware: Keep an eye on the subwoofer's exposed speaker. I immediately dented the dome by picking up my own. br>br>If you're a true audiophile, spend more and invest more. These are about the best in this price range if you're a casual computer user and gamer.
The set was a year old Altec Lansing that only had one speaker when it first started playing. The Bose set was a complete waste of money, costing $100. This set surprised me; it was almost as good as my favorite AL set. br>br>After a little tweaking with the equalizer and slightly raising some mid tones, this set is a huge improvement over the previous one. The bass kicks in nicely (and you can adjust it; your mileage may vary with this feature; I keep it at about 2/5 on the knob). I'm hearing parts of songs that I wasn't able to hear with the previous set. br>br>They're fantastic, especially considering the price.
I've been upgrading all of my equipment since starting to work from home a month ago. Sound was the final item on the list. br>br>One of my requirements was that it had to be a 2. 1 system, with independent "subwoofer" volume control, decent sound, and a price tag of less than $50. br>br>It was a tall order, because everything in that price range has some, but not all, of the features I was looking for. br>br>I chose this unit because it met my requirements and I'm familiar with CA speakers, having previously owned a smaller set. As a result, I had a pretty good idea of what I'd be getting. This isn't ideal. However, it is functional. br>br>This set turned out to be even better than expected. This isn't ideal. However, it is useful. br>br>While the bass has some punch, it is lacking in depth and richness. At this price point, I think it's unreasonable to expect anything better. I originally positioned it with the port facing a corner to give it a little more oomph. The sound, on the other hand, became muddy. That was undone, and I simply positioned the port under my desk with the port facing me. This got rid of the muddiness, and it now does what it's supposed to do: provide a richer sound. br>br>The side speakers are extremely bright and clear, to the point of being tinny. They don't need a full range because the "subwoofer" deals with low and mid frequencies. They are loud enough and serviceablebr>br>Through EQ, I was able to dial in these speakers, as well as the "subwoofer," to handle a wide range of music styles with adequate bass and clarity at high volumes. br>br>Summary: br>br> They're very easy to work with and outperformed expectations.
You get almost nothing for your money. The wires are not visible in the photos. There are a LOT of wires as well. It is not, in any way, shape, or form, wireless. br>br>The wire connecting the two small desktop speakers is barely long enough to connect them to each side of a 26-inch monitor. br>br>On a flat EQ setting, the speakers sound very "tinny," and the subwoofer is by far one of the worst-sounding subwoofers I've ever heard; the sub sounds more like a "knocking" bass sound, and the box is too small for the speaker, removing the range and deep tone. A "BOOM" sound does not appear. The sub produces a "POP" sound. All-inclusive br>br> I'd steer clear of this system in general. It's quite small, and the photos make it appear bigger than it is. For $50, I could probably have gotten a better sounding system. If you want a wide variety of sounds, this is the place to go. This one isn't going to give it to you. Fortunately, I purchased it as a present for my mother, who is easy to impress.
If you've had nothing but trouble with Logitech products, this is the solution. With sound quality and performance, as well as customer service, this brand beats Logitech to the punch.
I rarely come across a product that I can give five stars to. This is a flawless system. I have the impression that I am listening to live performances because the sound is so crystal clear. I'm spoiled rotten by the convenience of the adjustments via the pod. To adjust the speakers, I don't have to look for them or reach for them. I frequently listen to music on YouTube, where the sound levels vary greatly, but I never miss anything with a quick touch. I have the speakers and subwoofer about 3 feet away from me, but I'm sure they'd be fine if they were 10 feet away, or even 30 feet. On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your relationship? I give this system a 15 out of ten. I wouldn't mind buying another one if this one lasts a year. It is well worth the investment. DANCE HAPPY DANCE HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPP.
Although the subwoofer has its own power supply, the small speakers do not. The two small speakers are emitting a deafening hum. This garbage will be returned to you. It also sounds tinny, and the subwoofer isn't doing its job properly; instead of hitting the low notes, it just pounds randomly during songs. Overall, I believe this product has no quality control and is a complete waste of money. br>br> Why didn't I just go with Logitech or another well-known manufacturer?.
The sound quality is about what you'd expect for the price, but it's perfect for what I needed. On the volume control, I like that it has AUX and Headphone inputs. I wish there was an AUX input option so I could keep the Alexa plugged in instead of unplugging it to get CPU sound output. Overall, a good value for money speaker set.
