Questions & Answers
This is simply a cable coupler with two standard RJ45 Female connectors that will accept two male RJ45 cables to extend cable length as previously mentioned. It also works if the Ethernet cable is configured to transmit Power over Ethernet (PoE).
CAT5, 5e, 6, 6E, and 7 are all supported.
It is, in fact, effective.
It has two RJ45 connectors in each port, allowing it to work with CAT6 flat cables.

Every room was wired from there. I didn't have enough room in the junction box and instead chose to place my Internet router in a cabinet that was more centrally located in the house and already had plenty of space and a power outlet. One of the connectors in the junction box connected the main to the cable that would take it to the room I wanted. The issue has been resolved! Snapping the cables into the connector has a good quality and feel to it.
I used one to extend a cable that had already been routed but required three additional feet. When it didn't work after connecting, I used some patch cables to try it on a port we knew worked. The patch cables worked and we were able to connect to the internet, but nothing happened when we connected them to the adapter.
This is number five, and it suffices. We've got CAT- There are five cables that run beneath the floorboards, each of which is the exact length required for each room. We recently had to remodel the room that housed our main modem connection, and since two members of the family work from home, keeping our Internet connection up and running was critical. I purchased these RJ45 Couplers (along with some 10-foot RJ45 Couplers) from Amazon. ft CAT- 5 cables) so that I could connect to the hardline while having our modem and router in a different room, and they worked flawlessly! It was as easy as plugging something in and turning it on: I connected one of these couplers to the hardline and then our modem to another CAT-II cable. I quickly moved the modem by simply connecting the 5 cable to the other side of the coupler.
Extend the length of your Ethernet cords! I bought it to move my cable modem to a new location. Every Ethernet cable in the house connects to a central hub, which is where your modem, router, or switch should be. The problem is that the hub box, which is installed between the studs inside a wall, was too small to accommodate these items with adequate circulation. As a result, I used this to connect the patch cable from the living room to the patch cable in the hub from the office. Then I placed my cable modem in the living room, which effectively connected directly to my office router, eliminating the need for a direct ethernet connection in any other rooms. br>br>In any case, there's no need to think about how to use these. The connection has remained stable, with no noticeable speed or transmission loss. Great deal! br>br>.
I'm using this as a stopgap measure until I can re-enter my information. My wireless access point is currently being wired. When I connected it and ran speed tests, it dropped my bandwidth from over 180 Mbps to 60 Mbps. I worried about it for a while, then tried the second coupler in the package on the spur of the moment and got the full 180 Mbps I had before. So. I suppose it's for the best that they include two?.
Verizon placed my router, which runs on ethernet not coacts because of the speed of the service that I get, in the living room, which is a huge problem for the rest of the house except for the people directly beneath it, and without rerunning all of the cords in my house, I was basically stuck with it. We got the extender to give the backyard and my bedroom Wi-Fi. We still didn't have Wi-Fi, though. I ordered the connectors in order to be able to move my router just a few feet and what a difference it made I'd have to say this should be available in stores I don't know why it isn't I'd have to say this should be available in stores I don't know why it isn't I'd have to say this should be available in stores I don't know why it isn't I'd have to say this should be available in stores I don't know.
When installing a few Poe cameras, I ran into a problem with a couple of cables being too short. I had two options: remove the already routed cable and purchase a longer one, or get an adaptor to extend the installed one. I chose the latter, and my issue was resolved; latency is very low, and the cameras work great.
I needed to run a new cat 5 cable because I moved my router to the front room, but I found these. I took my setup to the front room, ran a cable from the front room to the router, and used the connector to connect the cable to my gaming computer in the router's original location. This method is simple and time-saving, and it works well. I recommend it as a simple way to connect two cat 5 cables end to end.
